Taking the suggestions of a unit filler and coins...
I made some coins out of greenstuff, basically made a long roll and after it dried sliced little coins off.
Also mounted the shield on a super magnet and put one one the base then built up the gap with super glue and sand. It is a very string join, but if my recipient doesn't want a unit filler, he or she can put a magnet on a 20x20 base and she can join other harpys. Also it will make it easier to post :)
The photo show only the base to protect the identity of the harpy - she has a business to run. As you can see she has collected a few piles of gold coins already :)

Wise attitude.
Still, without revealing the name of the dancer, would you be so kind as to hint the place where she operates?
Only to satisfy our intellectual curiosity, of course.
:P

OK, lots of cool stuff going on. After a brief hiatus (Halloween costumes to make...more Assassin's creed this year) and a trip to Disneyland....I'm getting back to work. I'll post some progress on Zorah this week .

Ok, I have finally remembered to upload the photos from my camera. This is what I've been working on:

Not much, I know, but this is the second attempt already and there was quite a lot of measuring there. And it apprently still wasn't enough, because no matter what I did, the circles still won't turn and slide over each other as required. :(

So I guess it's back to the drawing board for me, to try and figure out some other way to achieve what I have in mind without using Fimo.

I was trying to be mysterious, but as you have already guessed... yes, it is. This is the result of my thinking what to give to a person who has everything already.
I have a new design now, just a lot simpler. :(

A turn counter is a really brilliant idea! I am going to put that on my list of things to make...one day :?

Ah yes, it makes sense now. One of the projects that I have had in the back of my mind for years was to make a turn counter that was essentially a dark elf "Round Card Girl" like in boxing that is holding up some flippable numbers for the turns.

Meanwhile, here is my (small) progress on Zorah:

To beat the Xmas rush, I posted off the model to my secret santa recipient today. It has to make it to other side of the world before the riffraff start clogging the postways with mindless non Warhammer gifts. :?
Fingers crossed that it makes it there intact!

OK so here's what I'm up to with my S Santa project...new for me (at least when it comes to Dark Elves) a pale skin tone that's more "natural" and matches what my recipient has done with their army. Perhaps thats a hint as to who I have :D

As always with my girls, I try to mke them beautiful, but dangerous and scary at the same time, i.e. they aren't Victoria Secret underwear babes with weapons :D

She looks outstanding Lion. For something you don't usually do with the skin tone, there's no way to tell looking at that work.
