Extra touch are the national colours of the Netherlands representing my county (or dead fellow dutchmen hehe)

Have to agree the colour scheme looks really great, going to be a fantastic army when it is completed. The cold ones are such good miniatures but I have found it difficult to settle on a colour I am happy with despite hours trawling through image searches, the black and white definitely works though, good job I have finally settled on a scheme for mine or I would be shamelessly stealing this look.

I think you missed a great opportunity to add some color to your army by, as Malys the younger so aptly put it, beetle-juiced your War Hydra. But you're off to a decent start!

I thought the same ! So used yellow / orange for the heads and arms of the Hydra, which looked very good on its own. But, it looked not good combined with the other neutral colours, so re-painted the heads again with black and white while dyrbushing the other yellow parts into much more neutral colour. The basic overall look will remain neutral, with adds of red on the cloth and banners. One of my main painting inspirations is Arturius or something (also on this forum, known for his amazing dark rider) who also uses very neutral colours and lots of white.

Nice shades - what are you going to do with the vines on the back of the cloaks - I would cut them off with a blade.
