So, I finally finished my Cauldron of Blood/Bloodwrack Shrine, I decided to do it with a small twist.

As much as I like the new statue of Khaine, it just becomes too tall for my storage of the model, so I went with a compromise of the mirror.

The trapped soul idea came from and old horror poster called the pact that I remembered. Thought it would be a fine little detail if something was trying to get out from there.

and a few close ups of some of the details in url format, no need to spam too much with pictures :)

That mirror is outstanding! Provide me with details on how you achieved this effect :)

3 plastic pieces.. skeleton head, ghoul head and a ghoul hand filled down to make them flat enough to be placed on the surface.
Green stuff for the "stretch" effect around the edges. Had a friend help with those, mine kept getting flat

Then grounded with shadow grey. drybrushed with a drop of shadow grey and a drop of pure white and then high lighted with a wolf grey and finally a pure white for the tips. And a final wash over with glosh varnish.

I second this. Love the ghostly effect!
