The corsairs will be walking off of a beach, up a well trodden path, behind a line of slaves (Flagellants) who will be chained together, a Black Ark fleet master will be in front of them, holding the chain

lining said path will be 2 units of 20 executioners. the path will end at a cliff face where i shall work into it an alter to Khaine, stairs and a cauldron of blood.

Witch elves will be standing at the bottom of the stairs, 2 units of 10, and the stairs leading to the alter and cauldron will be the stairs from the cauldron of blood boxed set.

The obligatory hag standing atop and her two hand maidens standing on the stairs themselves.

so short answer to your question, yes, ill be using the stairs, cauldron, witches and statue of khaine from the cauldron of blood box, to work into a cliff face as a place of sacrifice.

anything else you can think of that I should be adding?

that all sounds great - looking forward to see it progress.

I would recommend coating that foam in lots of PVA glue - it will make it rock solid before painting.

Absolutely! Would you also suggest some sand for texture Khaine? Or will the foam be textured enough? I've never worked with it before.

The foam looks like it has plenty of texture - perhaps some sand and coarse rocks at the base and level sections would be good depending on the look you are going for.

I normally give all my foam rock features a couple of good coats in PVA glue to seal the surface and make them rock hard. After that you can spray them (if required) or I tend to use the cheapest acrylic black I can find and hand paint it to give it a base coat before working up from dark to light with dry brushing.

Thanks Drakon. The material is simply florists foam. You can buy it really cheep on eBay. Just look up 'florists foam'

Lol, I haven't done the base yet, all my bases have brown edging and I flock them. The green on this is for texturing
