Nice, except for the bolt thrower which I absolutely hate (the model). The pics could be a bit better (a tad blurry) but still looks like a nice paint job with a good colour scheme.

Keep it up, can't wait to see them based.

Are we meant to be able to see them? Because I can't. Its like a fog is over them. Seem pretty good but can't be sure. The fact your bases and movementtrays aren't done loose you marks as far as I am concerned.

Got to second what Rasputin said I'm afraid.
Can't see them properly and the lack of basing lets what I can see down

yeah, from what I can see they are very nicely painted... but as I can't see that much it's more like a hint than the fact that I really know it :P

yeah sorry for the blurry pics, i tried to take the pictures before the batteries ran out. About the basing yes i wanted to base the whole army but was dead tired the night before, i was up all night just to finish painting everything more or less. I'll take some new pictures hopefully tonight with a couple of units based.

About the gold, i used beaten copper for most of my minis as the base (till i found out gw discontinued it!!!) with chestnut ink over the top and shining gold over it. I'm now using brazen brass which as the base color, although its not as good. I'm thinkin of maybe switching to tinbits ir hoping Vallejo makes the game color equivalent... I am thinking of using the Vallejo gold on top of that but haven't tried it yet and they look pretty good as is. Thanks a lot for the comments everyone!

I have to say you've done a marvelous job as for the coherency... Undoubtedly one of the most unified DE armies I've ever seen. About the painting skill I can't say a thing however.. I'll have to wait for better pics.
Count them:

Painted in 2013: 500
Painted in 2014: 600
Painted in 2015: 854

The shot is a bit blurry. Plus the lighting is off. So I cannot give accurate judgements.

From what I did make out the Cold Ones don't seem to have any real defining detail on the scales. I would probably work on that if I had the chance.

Other than that it looks cool. Good job!
There once was a High Elf named Bill
He went out and fought with all his will
Along came the hydra
and fried Bill with fire
And that was the end of poor Bill.

thanks everyone for the replies. YES there are two heros, the converted beastmaster serves as my noble/general/captain =0) And a Male Sorc being the second! I was suprised when i fought armies with 3 heros (virtually everyone). The models atleast a very few still needed some touch ups which i worked on saturday night. I am really happy how this army turned out because i recieved a lot of postitive feedback in the RTT.

If you want to find out how i did click this link: http://www.druchii.net/viewtopic.php?t=22315

As for pics i'll try and take some during the weekend! Much clearer i promise!
