Spell Markers: No 3 - Luxurious Torment (1 of 2)

Post by Rork »

The description of luxurious torment (See the magic cards) suggests that a small riot, so to speak, breaks out amongst the target unit.

Personally, I didn't think a brawl was going to make a very good Slaanesh spell marker, so I came up with a more literal interpretation of the spell name.

I wanted something that suggested literal torment, and with a couple of daemonettes spare from fury conversions, they were the ideal choice. I also used a contrast of colours between the daemonettes and soldier to further enhance the difference between the daemonic decadence and mortal terror.

Maybe now I will actually roll this spell up some time soon...

hahahahaha

thats great.

This has gotta be my favourite of the ones so far. I love the use of the poor bloke from the Giant...really well done man, youve exceeded yourself.

However, this isnt the best use of that cowering dude ive seen, the best involved a Daemonette aslo, but I dont think I could post a description here...yeah, it was that bad!

I like your interpretation of the spell - a good combination of terror on one side and demonic (primal) beauty on the other.

Another excellent marker.

They guy is terrified and that is proof enough that he is in torment. And at the same time it looks like those 2 Daemonettes are gonna get in a fight to decide who will kill him first.

Verry dinamic pose. Excellent work again.

Great work and I love the way it looks like the daemonettes might get togethor. It's so funny.

Heh, I'm aiming for these markers to be suggestive - after all, Slaanesh likes a little foreplay :P.

Thanks all :D.

I still have enrapturing spasms left. There are multiples of both torment and excruciations, although only excruciations no. 2 is significantly different from the one I've already posted (different model doing the whipping).

Good stuff Rork man...final peice looks sweet.

I look forward to Enrapturing Spasms...any chance of a clue as to what you doing for it? When my opponent asks me what that spell does I always say something like "oh, they dribble around for a turn" lol, so sometimes I say "gonna make that unit dribble" lol...lets hope you go for something more sexy than dribbling lol although....
