A few army pic. updates

Post by Seralkith »

I decided to add in a few more models to the portfolio. Hope to get the entire army (or all my DE minis) painted by new years.

Draich Master:

Corsair Reaver and two corsairs:

Warrior:

This is all done with 7 months experience in minis. I'm a bit anal in my painting so not many get done... :P

those look very good. The highlights on the warrior's 'skirt' look a little stark, but maybe that's just the picture. Otherwise great.

P.S. love the trees

Nice... especially if you'v only been painting for 7 months.

I agree on the warrior thing, and i would advice to make all army bases the same, it really unfies them.

Just one question: where did you get such realistic, lifelike trees? I don't think its legal to use them i a tourney, becouse GW would shame themselves for the rest of their lifes... ;)

Thanks for the compliments. The Draich Master's base has yet to be finished, don't worry it will be the same as the others. :)

Upnext for conversions is a Highborn on manticore w/ GoP. I'm pretty stoked for this next one!

I love my LEGO almost as much as my Warhammer, so I've got a real forest of them trees. Seriously I used to play something like Warhammer with LEGO figures with a friend calling it Brick Wars. I converted to Warhammer since it's sadly cheaper than buying LEGO castle men off Ebay. But I haven't "played" with it for a few months now as my friend who I used to play with moved off to University.

Lol Im loving the terrain you got ^_^. Well, for the most part, looks pretty good, but the warrior's chainmail is pretty screwed up. I cant see any drybrushing there, it just seems like you glossed over it with a tankbrush. No offense though. Anyways, the top of the warrior looks good. ^_^ Overall, you are a very good painter :D

I think they're more like kilts of chainmail...NO Dark Elves aren't scottish lol.

Pretty nice paint job. Get all the bases done up (the corsair champions was nice) and it will really draw them all together and finish them off.

Everyone else took all my comments about your forest. Very cool! I will have to go hunting through my boxes for my own lego trees now. :D
