CoS GIANT modelling help

Post by Almundis »

hi i am getting a giant soon and was wondering how to convert it up to look like it belongs in the cult of slaanesh. i am trying to make it look more like a druchii giant than a chaotic one.
so far the only things i have planned are;

either modelling gouged out eyes or a bandage accross them to imply he has none

a metal coller with some loose chains

some branding on his face and shoulders so druchii know who owns him

i need help with weapons and little cool touches that will make this petty cool resin model look friggin awsome.

Wow, just wow.
Moding a group of Druchii.net players is much like directing the musical 'Cats' using actual cats. Frustrating, difficult, chaotic but ultimatley satisfying and a great deal of fun.

Green Stuff, I presume? I attempted to make a CoS Giant...Though it didn't turn out well. i learn't the techniques from one of the White Dwarf Mags...Still, didn't turn out too well.

Two actual Torso's on on body. cut out the left and right side of each giant and Green stuffed the middle to look like they are joined.

On another note, WHOA!!! Better than the one I saw in White dwarfe!

I have seen that one in a White Dwarf as well, but I didn't know that was yours Georc 8) . BTW, both giants look really cool.

You guys do know that you can't take a Giant in a COS list, right? (No Dogs of War allowed in a Cult of Slaanesh list, apart from Mengil Manhide's Manflayers by special exemption).

There's nothing wrong with using a regular Dark Elf army themed as Slaanesh though :D

You could use the Keeper of Secrets from forgeworld as your giant

Because of the torso speculations:

here the solution:

change the last numer of the link and you can see the how to do of the whole giant.

your other work, such as your beastmen, are better i agree but the standard on this giant is still far higher than what i could accomplish. I could take a week at painting it and it would look not even half as good as this. I must say you are becoming my inspiration to paint some things :)
