Nice, I know how long those shields must have taken. My favorite part though is the silver highlighting of the army. I see you bought a CoK box (lordling's shield) I would really like to see how you painted those (if you have)

Well I like them :) The armour is simply Chaos Black with chainmailed edges isn't it? looks fantastic for core troops.
Just one thing you might want to thing about another colour for the leathery staff on the spears - a redish kind of brown like teracotta or dark flesh would go well with the blueish style I think.
Please excuse my poor English. I just put it here so I don't have to write it every single time I post something :)

Hey
Your colour scheme is scaringly like mine. It looks good. I put Asurmen Blue wash over everything other than the skin though, I suggest having a test model and applying the wash to see what you think.

Looking forward to seeing your other units.

Looking good, the colour scheme of the cold ones is what I've been doing mine, though I think I chose a slightly darker blue. I like the knights, very dark and menacing. I would pick out the spine in a lighter colour though, I used bleached bone to bring them out myself.

Sorry Im no good with photos. Ill se what I can do though. If your worried about making it too blue, you can always water it down a little bit.

Aye, you've got a scheme similar to mine. Alebit, my core troop armor is boltgun metal + black wash + mithril silver highlights. Thanks for the pics!

Hello!

I thought I was going to post some pics on my corsair :)
I know the banner looks like the symbol from jurassic park, mortal combat or thunder cats...but I seriusly didn't notice that after I was done with it xD

soo hope you liked them :) the corsairs where painfull to paint due to their pointy weaponds and armor, don't know how many times I have stabbed my fingers on these minis...so I have bled alot for this unit ;) I wonder if others have had the same problems or am I just clumsy?
well pls comment and have a nice day/night
see ya!

I had the same problems painting corsairs mate ;) .

I love your army, can't believe these are your first mini's! There is only one thing I dislike about your army and that is the black armour with sharp highlight. I know, I know, I'm probably one of the few to think so, if you like it then keep it. Your painting style is very neat (apart from the armour highlgihting which is to thick), and the bases look great.
Would love to see more!

Farodin: haha good then I'm not the only one :D
ok thats okay :D suprised thats the only thing you disliked :D
but I like it though it was a hell to paint the mithril silver paint was thick and have dried up alot so I had to water it alot >_< anyways Thank you for your coment I really apreciate it. maybe I post more pics tommorow :D

Just a quick question...

Do you water down your paints? Some of the areas look a little thick here and there - its only really noticeable on banners etc, but it will really improve the smoothness of the covering just by adding a bit of water.

Other than that, great scheme. I really like the look of it.
I'm waiting for more! :D

yes most of the paint I water down :) but since this is my first army the first units can look like that :D I had not realised the magic of watering down the paint by then :D now I have to do it :D yes the banners.....since I suck on freehand....I've had to repaint them blue a couple of times and start all over again :D thank you for the comment glad you liked it and I'll post pics on my boltthrower and crew later today ^^

I really love the sorceress! She looks wicked! Your boyfriend wan't just being nice ;) . The bolt thrower isn't bad too, but not as good as the sorceress.
