D.E. warrior wrote:1st: I really Love your shades and the assassin, actually I love your enire army! did you made the cape of the assassin out of greenstuff?

Yes, and no, it's partially greenstuff. The other half is from the HE mage kit.

D.E. warrior wrote:2nd: I have the same problem as you have ;-) my room is totally filled with my ADAMS 8000 show model drum kit: 3 toms, a floor tom and a field drum + a snare with wooden rims, a 10" splash(Sabian Hand Hammered), 2 16" crashes (zildjian K dark crash thin and Sabian HHx power crash) and a 22" yes indeed: 22"!!! Zildjian Ride And my Sabian AA fusion hats Hi-hat of course :D
anyway,, nice drum kit ^^ how long do you play already?
as it is a black showcare model with golden sound nails I use to play on the basrum of course is a bit larger then others to :D
But I don't put any pillows in it, I just use a EVANS emad on it ;-) might be a good advice for you 2!

I'm using Meinl cymbals on my kit (from the MB8 and MB10 series). Currently fielding a 16" crash, 18" crash, 14" hats, 10" splash and 20" ride (will soon add 18" china once I got cash to spare, and I still want to try the Chris Adler 24" signature ride sometime). I am currently using a PS3 Remo head on my BD, but I might try an Emad sometime. I was afraid the Emad would sound very "plasticy" on my BD.
As for how long I've played, started when I was 8, 19 now, with a small break in between. A decade I'd say.

@ Emil - Might have been me, mostly working on mornings though. Yes, the nerve is a bit lame. A 2.5k ogre army would totally slaughter my poor Druchii (Tank tyrant would eat my lord on dragon for breakfast). THough the demon nerf is a bit overkill. Demons can't take the same "Gift" or "Item" twice. So no more 0+ save on each jugger herald, and only one firestorm blade.
And Ring of Hotek counts as 3DD. The nerf on assassins is the first one counts as core, and every one after that takes up a hero slot. Apart from that I don't really remember what the nerfes are.

I realli like the harpies. I do not like the DE harpies and am considering an alternative. I really like your bases!

It's one of the cloaks from the High Elf Sorcerer's kit. I cut the collar off, pinned it inbetween the shoulders of the DE Warrior torso (about 3mm distance from the torso, so you have a pin armature to sculpt over. I think I used 2 pins, iirc), and extended it so it looks like it's one piece with the hood. I extended the hood a little bit as wel (so it looks more "pointy"). If you care to know about the other bits I used, feel free to ask.

Made a few army shots. Deployed my army on the table. Went looking for a proper camera. No camera! Damned sister took it with her on her holiday to England... So cellphone it is once again. The daylight gives my models a bit of a blue haze though...

Thanks for the reply, Lord Tsunami. Took a rearshot of the hydra for you, I hope it's clear enough.

And more pics ofc. Still a bit hazy but better than cellphone, ofc.
