Storm of Magic 2000 Points

Hi,
My mate wants to play a Storm of Magic game on Monday (it's his b'day).

2,000 points plus the extra 25%.

What reccommendations do people have for
(a) the Main Army
(b) The extra 25% M&M

Assume I have access to most of the models for the M&M components and I have all of the DE models painted, well apart from a few Lord options. :-)

I was thinking of starting out with a L4 High Sorceress, a core unit of spearmen with Hero, a large unit of RXB with L2 Sorceress with The Guiding Eye and going from there.

Odd/surprises for the M&M are welcome.
