Time to add a few more models
Malus - painted him reasonably recently and the red Cold One was the inspiration for painting my Cold One Chariot with red lizards

Featured elsewhere on the Shrine PLOG are my Shrine and Cauldron of Blood. The Shrine being custom made to scale with the CoB

This is non-GW Sorceress model I bought a couple of years ago. After the tips I received for the chariot I am tempted to repaint the blade.
At the time I liked the white eye look - thinking it was mystical and all that, but not so sure now.

The new Medusa is one of my favourites, I haven't had much success with her in the game, but I do like the model.

This is the first batch of Warlocks I painted, in the process of making a second 5. Not sure if I should paint them the same as these so I have the option of a unit of 10 or make them a little different so I can have 2x5. What have people had success with?

I opted to keep my Warlocks all the same just so I did have the option of running a single larger unit. If you were to go individual unit colours they would still look fine as a full unit as long as the colours worked together. Not always the easiest to do but far from impossible that's for sure.

Models are looking good!

Had some time today to take a few photos - these are some of my monsters.
Hero on a Manticore - I tried magnetising the model so I could swap it for a Sorceress if needed, but it is not working well. I must get around to finishing him!
The rider is a custom mix of different models, I quite like him, but will probably need to give up on the magnet idea to get him to sit right.

Next up is a conversion I did of my old Wyvern model. I think the Wyvern is a particularly good model and I was loath to get rid of if years ago when I sold off my Orc. Some wire and greenstuff later I added a set of arms/legs whatever and instant Black Dragon :)
Pity about the rider, it was an old model and I don't like it.

Another conversion/build
High Elf horse with greenstuff and wire wings a,d greenstuff enhanced mane etc. The model is various riders and bits. I needed a Pegasus master to go hunting and this fits the bit nicely.

A change of name to my PLOG to reflect that this will be the home of all my Druchii models - it is what I should have called it originally
Here is the bulk of my Witch Elf Horde, I have to include a couple of unit fillers to make up the numbers to hit 40 though.

I love how well the new champion blends in with your unit. Always great to see the old Witches look like they belong in a "current" army.

Putting the new champion in a Raging Heroes unit was definitely a smart move. she would make the old witches look very overdressed. I love how they all fit together and the witch elf on the demon (?) head is really awesome as well!
My painting blog

Even without Games Workshop, we will endure. Armies of the Unsupported Age, the models are out there.

I like your models, they look great. Would you mind sharing your paint scheme for the warlock's skin? That looks like something I'd like to try.

Sure - I started with an base coat of Dheneb Stone, then a thin coat of Pallid Wych Flesh then a wash of Gryphonne Sepia. Then more pallid wych and gryphonne sepia until it looks about right.

Fantastic update. I like them all, but the Witches stick out the most for me, presumably due to the shear numbers.

Nice!

I have been slack on the painting front for the last couple of weeks but finally finished off my second unit of Warlocks
Pretty much a standard build as I really like those models and the only deviation was to trim the teeth down somewhat.
now looking forward to fielding 2 units together!

a close up of a single, I will crop him down to use in my army builder :)
