Cauldron of Blood - show me yours!!

I've painted the avatar on mine, see photo.

The bowl and statue bearer I will paint the same, but I don't know what other colours to paint the rest of the model! The stairs I was thinking bleached bone, but I just don't know. The wheels and chassis could be plate mail colour but then maybe that's too much metal.

Please show me yours so I can copy!!!!

Beautiful.

I prefer these sort of finishes on statues. Otherwise the finish of the "living" part of your army matches "inanimate objects".

So I'd be happy with it as it is... maybe add a little dust and call it ye olde statue of khaine

Well I'm afraid I might have to steal those colours for when I start painting my elves up in a few weeks. I didn't realise how nice a colour vallejo's metal paints gave. Looks like I have no reason left to be buying GW paints ever again!
