So I had a go on the Cold One Chariot.

You know there is something about not getting them wet and feeding them after midnight, there might hold true...
During the night, another one appeared.. So now there are two chariots ^^ They are the same build-up colour wise, with a slight difference in the finish highlight of the spikes/scales on the Cold Ones. I will post pictures once I get it assembled.

When you say 'Wash: Strong Tone' which company makes this 'strong tone' or is it a mix of your own devising? Because the results look spectacular!

The one I use is called Strong Tone..

It is from army painter (comes in a small tube, where you press it out rather than open the lid and dip directly with the brush)

As I recall there are at least 3 types of it. Soft tone, strong tone and dark tone.

Well finally got the last one assembled.

The "new one" is the one closest to the camera, and the peggy infront is part of the new project, which will be used in my 1000pts list posted in the army lists section

If you are thinking colours, it is nothing special atm.. my computer decided to say frak all and do a windows installation while I was painting, so I didn't get to write down most of them.

But I tend to use alot of colours which goes over from previous "themes".

So cloth is normally Abaddon Black (sleeves), Pure Red (scarfs etc) and Xereus Purple (robes)

Mournfang Brown (gloves), Rhino Hide (harness, leather)

Ironbreaker (metal)

The shield I did a bit of a copy from the frame on the chariots, which I liked alot. so it was drybrushed on the black primer  ( Naggaroth–night (heavy), Xereus Purple (light), violeta azyl (very light) )

when I first started painting Dark Elves I was much into them having gold on their armors (from looting and pillaging other races) but after I painted my executioners and was suggested the Runelord Brass, I must say I've started to use that alot instead of gold, the effect is much better, in my oppinion.

That is what I can remember of my head, without having the model to study (I paint mostly in our "club" where I have a locker for all my models)

I feel like a jerk now, but I meant the model...Dark Rider/Scourge runner horse and pegasus wings?

But thank you for the color scheme anyway!

hehe, no problem.. but yeah. The new Scourge Runner horses, which I have spare now, and the pegasus wings from the Bretonia army, which you can buy as bits. Also using the Cold One Knight champion as rider. I had to cut quite alot into the horse, for the legs to not look retarded (ended up with holes in both sides) Which the legs covered nicely, But expect to use some green stuff to fill holes and cracks.
