Deathmatch III will be played using my revised Shadow Arena v2.0 rules and guidelines.

Shadow Arena is a short term Arena RPG, so if you do not have the time to dedicate to an actual RPG Group this could be the thing for you. If you're waiting around in the Creation Pool why not give this a go to keep your creative juices flowing. Anyone is welcome though be aware games can sometimes last up to a few months to complete. Deathmatch I and II, plus the other Shadow Arena events staged so far, were all a great success.

I'm planning to keep this one small and relatively slow, probably looking at 6 or so players and around 2 post per week. This is to be a standard Deathmatch, as described in the link above.

If you're interested post up a character and I'll see how many we get.

;)

Name: Grim Ironaxe (aka “Rusty”) (m), Dwarf
Stats: M3, WS5, BS4, S5, T8, A4
Weapons & Armor: Hand Axe, Great Axe, Heavy Armor, Helmet
Abilities: Axe Master; Master of Toughness

Rusty is a dwarf of good age and proud of it. He has reddish-brown hair, now gray streaked, and charcoal eyes that seem to have a spark of forge fire in them.

A former tunnel warden, Rusty is used to fighting without a shield but goes no where without his hand-crafted heavy chain armor and winged helmet. Both armor and helm have golden red inlays.

Over the years, Rusty has practiced with all manner of axes. He keeps a twice-honed hand axe tucked in his belt. Belted onto his back is a massive two-handed axe, bladed on both sides and engraved with runes of vengeance against most manners of beasts and foes.

Despite his loyalty to his people, over the years he has had many adventuring opportunities both below and above the earth. His adventures have toughened him against most adversity, even beyond the normal limits for his kind.

Rusty is a formidable foe, but also a fast friend. He is as quick to help a friend in need as he is to strike with fury at any enemy within reach.

Stats: M4, WS7, BS3, S7, T5, A3
Gear: Great Axe, Mace, Heavy Armour, Helmet
Master of Battle, Heavyweight

Aks is a stupid ork, even the other orklings thought he was pretty dull when he was a youngling. His lexicon consists of the phrases 'ARRGGGGGGG', 'YARRRRGGGGG' and the new addition 'aks'. The concept of naming his best friend (his 'aks') hadn't occured to him until his captors continuallly referred to it, but then again the concept of a concept hadn't occured to him either so he was a few steps behind from the start.

He is somewhat yellow-skinned, owing to a lack of sunlight in cold cold Naggaroth. He manages to keep warm by wearing his troll-skull helmet all the time, taking it off only the pad it with meat (dead or wriggling). His axe is, basically, a sharp stone attached to a stick. However primitive it is, it is also effective. Infact all the Druchii trackers needed to do was follow a trail of fallen trees and unfortunate animals to find him.

Aks is a rather humourous opponent (for those watchng) as the fetid stink of his helmet tend to cause his enemies to curl their lips and scrunch their faces in disgust.

OOC: Not 100% on the mechanics of 'Heavyweight' so I just added +1S to his profile.
It adds 1 strength to a hit which is landed in a way I deem as 'a good hit', such as not clipping an enemy but smashing them in the face. The +1S does not go on the profile so I have removed it.

Carmendum (the singing one), F.
Elf - M5, WS7, BS4, S5, T3, A5
Great Sword, light armour, helmet, 2x short sword.
Blade master, Master of Strength

Aleith, as this unwilling gladiator was then known, was once a troubadour, a wandering bard. Versed in the ancient stories of the elven race and able to enrapture an audience in their telling through song she plied the more traditional provinces of Ulthuan, where her talents were still appreciated. Of course such a life style involved considerable danger, and so no bard was ever let lose upon the world until their teachers were convinced they were able to defend themselves, Aleith was certainly able to do that.

Unfortunately for Aleith, though rather good luck for the Reaver captain, she was playing in a coastal village at the time of a Druchii slave raid. Though the village was taken, along with its inhabitants, easily enough the reaver noted the skill shown by the bard and sold her to the organisers of the shadow arena.

Lucrative as this business deal was that was not the prime concern of Aleith. Having roamed free for her entire life her capture and subsequent confinement in a tiny (though compared to most other prisoners, sanitary) cell had driven her over the edge of sanity. She does not talk anymore, not even when compelled to do so through whips and beatings, her owners do not even know her name. Instead she sings, seemingly to herself, almost constantly. This strange trait granted her her new name, Carmendum, the singing one.

So that's an Elf, an Orc, and a Dwarf... How about we get a Skaven and Human player up and take it from there?

All the above profiles look spot on, we just need some more.

So, an Elf, an Orc and a Dwarf walk into a bar.
The Elf says, "A wine, please, or mead if you have it."
The Orc says "GRAAAAARGH!"
The Dwarf says nothing, but nods at the bartender who hands him a pint.

Oh, there's no joke, its just good to be a dwarf! LOL!

It may have been a mistake to do this just as a new SAU was starting up, have you tried PMing some likely suspects?

No, not yet, though I will PM everyone in the creation pool in a few days time. I think you're right though, perhaps it is better to wait until the SAU is over? The idea was just to get a feel for the v2.0 rules and see if it all still works well in the game. Plus, obviously, kicking some ass while doing so!

Manfred, before he was captured, was a ranger. Thought in contrast to most people in his job, he did not live alone in the forest but at a coastal village next to the forest he cared for. Though he was close, in his love for the forest, to the wood elves he had always thought their way of living egoistic. The forest should be there for everybody to appreciate. Though he would kill anybody who tried to destroy this wonder he would allow anybody to go in it undisturbed.

In the village in which he had lived he had had a wife and a daughter when the raiders came at night and slaughter his villages he had been in the forest, but when he came back and laid his eyes on the ruins it was not grief that controlled him but ragging cold anger. Edging closer to the burned town houses he planned to kill as many of whom ever his enemies where as possible. Before he had even gotten in the range of the first corsair with his long bow a group of scouting shades had already spotted him. For their own amusement however they decided to watch back and see what he could do. After he had killed three corsairs they saw his value and decided to capture him instead of spiking him as they had planned.

Nice one, looks like we have 5 players! I'll start the game going now, everyone must post before each deadline or suffer the consequences. I'm busy for a few weeks so we may have a slow start, but I hope things will speed up.

Remember to post speech in bold, thoughts in italic, and intended actions at the bottom of your post and underlined.

Everyone begins the game with 3 damage points, check over the rules threads if you're not sure on how anything works.

Also, Varaken, despite the way you posted before being appropriate for your character, only your italic thoughts should be posted as such. Your actual game posts need to be written as constructively as possible if you want the bonus for good posting.

DEATHMATCH III

The first of your senses to return was your hearing, the distant drumming of some hateful applause growing louder like the beat of marching feet. You could feel yourself being dragged along by cold and dexterous hands, your feet barely scraping the floor as your captors moved you from one area to another. Your eyes opened, but only darkness was around. Realising a bag has been placed over your head, you let out a muffled curse, a sound which is cut short by the forceful throw your captors use to hurl you to your knees. Several seconds later and the bag is ripped from your head, the world around you suddenly flooding back to life. Whoever brought you here is already leaving, the screech of a heavy iron door shutting behind you and leaving you isolated.

You find yourself in a small holding pen, with four stone walls left almost completely bare. Behind you is the locked iron door, and in front of you is a heavy iron gate. Also in the room is a bench, and upon it are your favoured weapons and armours. The roar of a thousand Druchii baying for blood drones through the rafters above, spilling into your pen as if to torture you yet further. You didn't need to speak the Druchii language to understand what was asked of you. This place was an arena, some sort of sick game. You had been given back your weapons and armour, which could mean only one thing. You were expected to fight.

Unsure of what to expect, you weren't taking any chances, and wasted no time buckling up your armour and drawing your weapons. The arena above slowly went quiet once again, and you knew that your time to fight had come. What you would face you could not say, and you had no idea what would happen if you were to win or lose. Was there any way out but death? Was there freedom to the victor? The only way to find out was to fight, so fight you must. A long drumroll ensued, and then the iron gate before you fell open like the doorway to hell...

The five competitors strolled, jogged or burst out of their holding pens and onto the sandy arena floor, each looking around in anticipation and confusion. The cheers and jibes of a thousand bloodthirsty Druchii nobles taunted them from the second they stepped into the arena, making it harder to concentrate on the task at hand. They looked around, seeing that the square arena was some hundred yards across in both directions, and that they had each emerged from pens at one point in a pentagon. There was an equal spacing between each warrior and those to his left and right. The centre of the arena was an open battlefield, the bloodstains of the last event having barely had time to dry.

They had no choice but to give the Druchii what they wanted...

Carmendum (the singing one), F.
Elf - M5, WS7, BS4, S5, T3, A5
Great Sword, light armour, helmet, 2x short sword.
Blade master, Master of Strength

The sudden light of the arena caused the lithe she elf to blink, it had been a long time since she had known anything but darkness, or perhaps it was not so very long, it was hard to tell these days. For want of anything better to do the bard walked out of the holding cell and into the pit.

Above the 'nobles' sat, comporting themselves in a manner disgusting to even the most uncouth peasant of Ulthuan,
what does one expect from the dark ones, little more I fear.

Though she could understand no more than the odd word it was all too clear what the meaning behind their howling and chanting was, and even without them the purpose of the arena was obvious enough. Glancing to her right she saw the form of a great hulking ork, primitive even by the barbaric standards of that lesser race. Though no elf could feel anything but contempt for the ork only a fool could look at those arms, thick as mooring lines, and mistake what they saw for easy pickings.

To her right things were very different, a human, and poorly armed at that. A dwarf and some form of mutant, what could only be described as a giant rat, stood a little way off, she would deal with them if and when she had too, the human first.

Unsheathing her great sword from his scabbard on her back Carmendum turned to face him. She said nothing, she never did anymore, why communicate with the world, the universe had already rejected her talents, reducing her to entertaining beasts by use of her meanest abilities. If only they knew who they killed.

Quietly, not under her breath but in a voice not geared to carry, the troubadour began the lay of Caledor, tamer of dragons, and charged.

Upon the slopes of a mountain cold
above the valley, in search for gold
an elf of lore a maiden spied
and knew then she must be his bride...

Carmendum will draw her great sword and charge straight towards Manfred fully intent on cutting his head off. Stance: Offensive

Sniksin blinked rapidly as he was thrust into the bright light of the arena, hissing his dislike for the searing pain that temporarily ran through his eyes. Once his eyes had cleared the Skaven looked with quick furtive glances around at the other contestants, sizing them up in his cowardly mind.

Nasty pointy ear too quick, big skin-green too strong and man-thing scare scare Sniksin.

Looking to his left he spied his target and a feral grin split his features as he spotted his most hated of foes.

Kill fat dwarf!!

The thought rang through him as almost a physical force as the collective memory of his race and the bitter wars fought in half-remembered darkness surged to the forefront of his mind. In his bloodlust Sniksin cared nothing for the baying Dark Elves that lined the seats of the arena, his beady, red eyes focused purely on the aging dwarf ahead of him. However, even these powerful emotions are not enough to overcome his natural cowardice.

Sniksin draws his short sword with relish and advances cautiously on the dwarf with his shield covering his body, hoping Rusty's attention is held by something else being the coward Sniksin is. All the while continually checking his back...just in case.
Stance: Cautious[/i]

After the long days in the dark cell he had been kept in the bright sunlight and the noise took him a moment to get used to. Apparently he was in an arena as used for show fights in the bigger towns in the empire. He had been in one of those but out of this perspective and surrounded by dark elves lingering for his blood this was a little bit less fun. He could still see the blood, which had yet to dry on the floor of the arena; however his look was more attracted by the female elf charging him with a great sword. He had no idea what brought he to go so easily to go along with the plans of her supposedly hated kinds folk or why she was singing , but he had long since given up trying to understand elves, the forest ones, the raiding ones or the cocky ones. And this was also not really the time and place to worry about stuff like that.

Hoping to break the singing ones charge Manfred will shoot with his long bow at her. His main intend is to slow her down and make her stop not to
hit vital organs.

The chanting that filled Aks' ears, filled the rest of him with primal vibrations of excitement and rage. He had his beloved axe back and that meant only one thing; time fer smashin' skulls. Unable and unwilling to contain himself, Aks started shaking and bashing the heavy iron gate in a misguided attempt to get to smashin' skulls quicker.

The gate shuddered into motion and light blazed into the holding pen causing Aks to squint and blink. The scent of fresh blood reached Aks' flared nostrils and caused him to grunt with happiness. Above the sandy blood-stained ground there was thousands of screaming elves, They fear me. Four other captives were entering the arena. A huge grin split Aks' face, finally a chance, a challenge. Just like in the jungles of home, the ones on the edge of the circle wanted blood and the ones in the middle would provide it, he was back home again, ready to kill. Aks would kill them all and pick their brains and then all would know that he was the strongest ork. Maybe some more enemies from the sides would get shoved into the middle and he could kill them too. Looking around, Aks put his enemies into catergories in a typical orkish manner.

Two little things an' two more littler things

Aks would kill the 'littler' ones first and save the bigger little ones for after, better show that way. Hefting his axe above his head Aks lets out a bellowing ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRG!!! to match the spectators in fury. Challenge issued, Aks begins a relentless loping charge on the nearest enemy.

Aks will charge towards the dwarf, bellowing his warcry. When he reaches the dwarf he will atttempt to split him shoulder to hip with a vicious diagonal blow.

Stance: OFFENSIVE ARRRRRRRG

OOC - Blaznak did not post this turn: first warning.

For this first turn I am going to include all dice rolls in square brackets just so you can see exactly when and where I roll. How to work out what is needed for each type of roll can be found in the Game Mechanics thread.

IC -

As the competitors entered the arena the crowds of Druchii spectators went wild, hissing and cheering their excitement as they waited for the events of the game to unfold below. Coins were exchanged as bets and wagers were made, and calls of hate and rage as the Druchii spotted some of their most hated enemies in the arena. The competitors did their best to shut out the noise of the crowd, instead focusing on those around them and working out the best way to stay alive. Each took check of the others in the arena, realising that there was no other of their race fighting in the game. It looked like alliances would be brief and brutal, if any were even formed at all. As the volume of the Druchii crowd died down once again, the first of the competitors began to make their move.

Aks let out a bloodthirsty cry as he spotted Rusty, and almost without thought found himself thundering across the sandy arena towards him. Sniksin had the same idea, cautiously approaching the dwarf from the other direction without taking his eyes off the orc. Rusty stood his ground, about to be wedged between the mass of muscle that was Aks and the point of Sniksins' blade, seemingly unwilling or unable to move. Being the only one charging headlong into combat, it was Aks who reached the dwarf first. The orc lifted his huge hand-crafted axe high above his shoulder, before slamming it down in a heavy diagonal arc. The axe hit Rusty [3] with tremendous force, enough to rip his shoulder right open [4]. Fortunately for him his heavy armour withstood the blow [6] and left him unharmed. Skinsin was next, approaching Rusty from behind and making an upward stab with his long blade. The skaven was focusing on the intimidating form of Aks however, and his blade completely failed to hit the dwarf [4].

Across the arena, Carmendum began singing as she started to run in the direction of the nearby human. Her keen senses picked up on the fact that the rest of the competitors in the arena had moved off into a fight of their own, leaving her safe in the knowledge that she could take the human one on one. Manfred knew she was coming however, and he planted his back foot and drew his longbow. Years of training as a ranger had left his fingers accustomed to loading the weapon, and he had an arrow drawn within seconds. As the elf charged ever nearer, he took aim in an attempt to slow her down. Manfred released an arrow [4], which sailed true and hit Carmendum right in the thigh. with force enough to hurt her [4]. Her lightly armoured leg was no match for the piercing strength of the arrow [2], and the metal tip plunged unkindly into her flesh. Pushing past the pain, Carmendum continued her charge, slashing at Manfred in an attempt to behead him. Her blade went wide [1], the pain in her leg putting her off balance and causing her to falter.

Manfred was left in combat with Carmendum, just as Rusty was set upon by both Aks and Skinsin. The Druchii above roared in approval.

The song faltered with a curse as a yard of steel tipped wood ripped through Carmendum's leg, the pain causing her to stumble and mistimed her stroke. By sheer force of will the bard forced herself to push the pain aside and rise again.

She might be wounded, but she was far, far too close for the human to use his bow again. What was more he had yet to draw a weapon suitable for close work, Carmendum was rather keen on keeping things that way.

Drawing back her blade the elf aimed a savage cut at the man's sword arm, he would be little use without it. Unconsciously taking up the strains of Oakheart's lament the deranged troubadour battled on.

Carmendum will cut at Manfred's sword arm (which I assume is the right) in an attempt not only to wound him but also to prevent him from drawing his sword.

Sniksin hissed in frustration as his blade whistled past the inert dwarf and danced backwards to avoid the rampant and uncontrolled swings of the Orc's huge axe.

Dwarf die! Die now!

Taking advantage of the dwarf's apparent inability to move Sniksin drew back his sword to stab deep into the dwarf's back between the ribs, hoping to rupture something vital.

Throwing (slightly) more caution to the wind Sniksin concentrates more on the dwarf and less on the Orc that seems to be equally determined to kill the dwarf.

Sniksin will attack Rusty again from behind using a stab to the torso.

Stance: Offensive[/b]

The little thing wasn't running away, unusual for a goblin sized victim. Aks' cry matched his heavy thumping foot falls and reached it's loudest volume when he unleashed his axe.

Unfortunately for all of his effort, the only result that Aks got was an unsatisfying 'dink' and some very uncomfortable vibrations up the shaft of his great axe. A slightly miffed Ugh? escaped Aks' lips before rage at the fact that the dwarf wasn't split in two (or atleast missing a limb) took over. The axe in his hands was his piece of perfection, his love, and he would use it to slaughter this rather inert shortling.

Aks rocks onto his back foot so he can put more force into his next swing. With axe raised to his ear level Aks is prepared to shower violence and death upon his victim.

Aks will slash at the dwarf again, this time on a more horizontal plane, at waist height for a normal sized enemy but more like head height for a stuntie'

Name: Manfred Tell (m) Human
Stats: M5, WS4, BS5, S6, T4, A4
Equipment: Long Bow, Long Sword, Light Amour, Helmet
Abilities: Master Archer, Master of Speed

Concentrating on his shot he blended everything else out, the raging crowd, the image of a giant rat failing to hit a not moving draft, everything but the elf closing in on him. He had not yet the desire to kill her, one of his reasons for that was her good look; he was only a man after all. His arrow landed true in the elves leg as he had intended and seemed to sufficiently harm her, what he had not anticipated anyways was that she would still continue her charge.
Though his shot seemed to put her of balance, letting he miss her first blow, he was definitely at a disadvantage in a melee against her, especially without his sword in his hands.

What the hell is you problem, biatch?!? He shouted at her.

Trying to use the time he gained by her missing him he’ll attempt to draw his sword and block her next stroke. He still doesn’t want to kill her; however he values his life over hers.
Stance: Defensive

OOC - Blaznak did not post this turn: second warning. (3 in a row = dead)

IC -

As quick as Manfred was to reach for his sword, Carmendum was half a fraction quicker. The elf span her blade around in another quick cut, this time aiming for the humans arm in an attempt to prevent him drawing his weapon. This time her blade was aimed perfectly, but she acted in haste to the point of misjudging the power of her strike. Her blade met harmlessly with Manfreds' arm, causing it to bruise but doing nothing to help end his life. In return, the human ripped his own sword from the scabbard at his hip and spat an angry retort. He was entranced by his opponents appearance, thus he sought not to kill her but only to stop her from doing the same to him. He brought his blade up in a defensive manner, showing the she-elf that he would leave her alone if she returned the favour.

Across the arena, Rusty continued his impressive stand against his two attackers. The dwarf seemed to care not for the blows aimed his way, his eyes fixed firmly on the elven crowd above with a mixture of hatred and contempt in his eyes. If he cared for the creatures attacking him he did not show it, proving to all that he was either very brave or very, very stupid. To his blind side, the skaven Sniksin decided that the dwarf held the attention of the powerful orc, and thus he could pay less attention to the green brute. Throwing caution to the wind, he took his eyes of Aks and looked for a weak spot on the back of Rustys' armour. Spotting what looked like an opening, Sniksin lunged forwards with his blade at hand.

Hitting the motionless target was not a problem, but it seemed the red-eyed ratman had mistaken the notch in the dwarfs armour, which was in fact a small reinforcement over an old dent. His blade was knocked harmlessly away with a dull clang. The skaven instantly took a step back, accidently giving the orc room to swing as he sought only to manouvere himself back out of harms way. Aks bellowed and made a horizontal slash with his great axe, aiming for the dwarfs rather low to the ground head. His axe slammed into the side of the dwarfs helmet with force enough smash Rusty to the ground, his short legs coming up over his head as he landed awkwardly in the sand. The Druchii above leaped to their feet and applauded this act of brutality, but soon sat back down as they realised the dwarf was not yet dead, merely a little dazed.

Aks now stood opposite a rather shocked Sniksin, who couldn't help but squirt the musk of fear. Rusty lay on the ground, blood running down the side of his face.

Carmendum and Manfred still did battle across the other side of the arena, the human keeping up a defensive stance as he tried to decide if he should fight back.

Hmm, this one is better than I thought, tougher anyway. Stepping back, though keeping a wary eye upon the human, one could never trust such creatures, they simply could not understand the higher forms of honour. It was to their credit that they tried, unlike some.

Though she had made a decision to propose an alliance, however temporary, the words would not come, not in prose. Instead without thought she began a little known piece, translated as best she could into Reikspiel,

"The dark horde covered plain and vale
Naught left to do but mourn and wail.
The elven host a slender blade
the throng through it had to wade
Was far too great for the noble few
Above which silken banners flew.

"Yet in the hills perched high above
Men of earth and rock and mud
Watched over all with grim bright eyes
And looked into hearts where courage lies.
They took rude spears and four fold shields
And marched on down to the golden fields.

"They stood as one then, elf and man
Almost beyond our memories' span,
Before the host of midnight riders
Defying gods that squat like spiders.
They stood as one and broke the throng
Thus men won their place in song."

It was as plain as she could make it, for she could not bring herself to speak. Such a simple proposition in such flowery terms, she could but hope he understood.

Carmendum proposes and temporary alliance (i.e. until they are the last ones standing, unless interrupted by death) between herself and Manfred. She remains cautious of him however and is ready to both defend herself and retaliate if attacked. –Stance- Cautious

<Somebody in the public>
Booo, you're here to fight, you cowardess!

<A reply in the public>
Shhht, listen to that poetry!
See if the human shows any understanding!

<Initial voice laughing, then adding>
She must be a degenerate High Elf indeed to sing poetry in a time when action is obviously required!
But let's see what's happening, death becomes so much more exquisite when inflicted with art!

OOC: Good stuff Cal, provides fun atmosphere.

Name: Aks (m) Orc
Stats: M4, WS7, BS3, S7, T5, A3
Gear: Great Axe, Mace, Heavy Armour, Helmet
Master of Battle, Heavyweight

The metallic change as his axe smashed into the dwarf's helmet brought an ugly grin to Aks' battle enraged face, but the blood which began to pour from his head was alot more plasurable. The shortling's body fell to the ground in a crumpled heap. The blood-thirsty cheers of the crowd thrummed in his ears and sent a tingle down his spine. Dead... or dead enough atleast, Aks didn't make such trivial distinctions.

In front of him now stood a foe even smaller in stature, that seemed to appear out of nowhere, or maybe Aks just hadn't noticed him. A big rat, very uninteresting to kill and to make things worse, very bad tasting. However, Aks was compelled by his vicious nature to kill the little pest. He was so close and would bleed very nicely. Aks let out a vigourous WAAAAAAAAGH both in victory over the shortling and wrath for the imminent death he was about to unleash on the rat.

Aks stepped over the prone body of the dwarf and raised his bloodied axe again, nostrils filled with the sweet scent of blood. Thankfully the rat was nice and close and Aks didn't have to move far to kill him. The rat was holding a sheild and an oversized tooth pick, Aks would smash through both.

Aks will use his tried and true method of attempting to cut his foe in half with his beloved axe. Against such a short opponent he will use his axe vertically, like a hammer, a big sharp two-handed hammer.

Name: Sniksin Quickpaw
Stats: M6, WS4, BS3, S4, T4, A6
Equipment: Short Sword, Spear, Short Bow, Light Armour, Helmet, Small Shield
Abilities: Sneaky Git, He who runs away...

In the space of a blink the dwarf that was stood in front of Sniksin was thrown savagely to the floor by the massive greenskins axe leaving Sniksin standing, showered in gore, sword in hand ready to stab...nothing!

Sniksin steps back in terror as the ratman looks up and then slightly further up until he finally reaches the Orc's face

Sniksin in trouble! Sniksin in trouble!

Looking rapidly around the arena Sniksin sees that the pointy-ear and man-thing have stopped fighting, the dwarf was lying prone at his feet and the Orc was standing in front of him, axe raised for a vertical strike that would split Sniksin like a log for a fire.

Sniksin run away now!

Deciding that evasion is probably the best choice in this situation Sniksin is going to prepare himself to scamper through the Orc's legs as the down stroke falls, acting like the cowardly rat man that he is.

Stance: Evasive[/i]
