I have the minis and the interest, what I lack at present is a digital camera. Mine went caput, and my old cellphone has no method for transferring pics I've taken to my pc (and the quality on it sucks anyway).
So, until I can get myself a new camera, pics of all kinds will have to wait. However, with what's assembled I can easily do 15k points, and it would be safe to assume I have another 5-6k still in blisters/boxes.

OK so Treeapple wins thus far with a supremely awesome display. Extremely cool.

Mostly painted - only a couple of units to go and some still un-assembled so didn't include those. Total points about 9500 basic - without upgrades etc

Everybody had to start somewhere. No shame in having a small army

my pics are coming in september; we're having an all-out battle then (where we are allowed to use just about everything we have, no restrictions in army building), so then everything will be on the table.

In total, with zero magic items, and counting the stuff that's assembled but not painted, I have just short of 11,000 points in that picture. If you count only what I'd be willing to field right now, it's about 7,500. Also, on a side note, I'd just like to add: God Bless Holidays!

Thanks much. I made the gaming table myself, with the help of a few friends. It's 5'x10', and we love it. The tops are removable and modular, in halves of 5x5, so someday when I'm suitably motivated again, I can make more tops and switch out the existing ones. So I could make a top with permanent Warhammer terrain, and another with 15mm terrain for Flames of War, which I also play. Currently it's just a plain top with a Chessex Mondomat for RPGs. As for the army, while I had all the models out, I took plenty of pics of the individual units, so I'll update my PLOG with them. I just couldn't do all of that in one day. Getting all of them out, organizing and basing, photographing, putting them all away, and then doing the math on how many points, was pretty much an all-day job. Still, I'm glad I did it - beyond adding to the group page, I now also have this handy dandy spreadsheet on my computer that will help when it comes to building future armies, without having to make trips downstairs to ensure I can actually field what I've envisioned.

Here we go... I took a closer ones as you can't really see what's there lol. There's a nice mix of old an slightly new, most of my new plastic is still on the sprues. I did a quick count and without any magic items there's just over 12,000 points. It would have been more but my dragons, hydras and manticore are all still in pieces, sorry. Cheers.

With hatred: The painted models and especially their basing look really great, I love how cohesive the army feels.

I see a lot of you have went for the "assembled", "greenstuffed" and "painted" look. I like to think of myself as breaking new ground, with a sleek metallic, plastic (and occasionally blue sticky stuff) look. Raw and dangerous. BEHOLD About 35% of my horde. And to answer your question; "No!" No plans to ever paint.

TD - that looks amazing, you have mastered that consistent look across the whole army perfectly! Uniform basing, the odd hint of metal here and there really brings the army to life. What are those two blurry out of focus red and yellow dots bottom left of the picture? They look like your signature mini's for sure

Why thank you good Sir. *doffs cap* Not technically Dark Elves (allies I suppose?). Two of my Daemonettes from my original Chaos 40k army. I hadn't been wanting to show these models off previously, as the refined creativity involved may have set too high a bar for you poor others. Why I don't Paint -- Exhibit #433 Compared to the artistic level of the average D.net PnM poster ... I am Picasso!

Those are truly some classic miniatures you have there - definitely the centre piece of the army! Thanks for posting
