Wow, has it been that long? But it really has been too long. A combination of work, video games, family matters to attend to and, well, Nagash ( ) has given my Druchii something of a low priority. But I've not been entirely idle! So, just to kick-start this thread again, here are some Dark Riders. Apologies, as always, for the poor picture quality, but you get the idea. Hopefully, next update aren't as far off.

Great work again Payce, the earthy colours are a nice change from the black I have always done on DRs and you have made them look menacing and realistic.

Agreed. I really like the bases as well. Did you use the technical paint over the rocks as well? It looks pretty sharp and detailed.

The end times are upon us. Which, in short, means I more or less hve to re-write my entire army lore and add another several thousand points of awesome things from the WE and HE books, because why not? Mostly though, it's an excuse to paint models I've wanted to paint for ages, but couldn't justify spending time and/or money on due to my commitment to my druchii. But, here he is - my first End Times unit. Tuothu, the Gatekeeper. More stuff will hopefully be posted within too long - while I've not posted anything in a while, I've not been entirely idle. AND! I have a new camera to boot, that I'm currently learning. Also, here is my Secret Santa model, gifted by Heartsbane - an absolute gem of an assassin. He fits in perfectly. Hope you enjoy.

I like the color scheme on Tuothu. I've wanted to pick one up because I love the model but I haven't been able to justify it otherwise Congrats on the assassin, it looks like it blends in well, especially the base.

The wintry tones on the Tree man are awesome - looks perfect, with the tortured howl and cold claws. It's a super model... and a Kharibdyss provides the statline if we ever get the WE models taken away from us.
Magic work from Heartsbane on the assassin too - love how he fits your army look so seamlessly.

I got my filthy paws on this lovely lady from Privateer Press, she was a GenCon exclusive last year if I am not mistaken. Some greenstuff and Witch bits made her fit in perfectly.

Very nice. I like what you did with Hellebron and the bather is a nice touch.

Amazing, especially the bather. I have seen this done with the Bath-time for bubbles model, but I have never seen this one and I like it even more. Too bad she¨s an exclusive. Anyway, great job on everything and I can't wait to see more.

Super update - the unit looks dramatic and has a super unity, and symmetry. The bather is terrific in there - awesome to commit an exclusive model to your vision and pull it off so nicely.

Simply awesome ! I love how our Cauldron of Blood got the most out of us every time and your bather is simply stunning.
Compliments to Heartsbane, very smooth assassin

Amazing plog! I'm glad I stumbled across it!! Could I beg a favor and ask to see all of it together for a shot? I'd love to see how well it all ties together

The cauldron and witches look superb. I agree on hellebore, I'm not sure about the standard colour scheme but really like the way you have painted her.

Thanks for all the kind words - they are definitely a huge inspiration and encouragement to keep going! I've finished another unit of Dark Riders and a second Bolt Thrower the last few days, but won't bother posting any separate pictures of them as they are pretty much identical to the ones I've already posted. Currently, I am working towards finishing everything I need for my tournament list - next up will be finishing off enough Witch Elves and beginning the Phoenix Guard. As for a shot of everything together (@Jvh792), I will likely post "current standings" army shot within not too long. I have ten Executioners almost done and 5 Dreadspears about halfway done at the moment, that I want to finish first to fill out some movement trays and give it a more "full" army look. Thanks again for all the lovely words!
