Hopefully there will still be a "dark elves" faction - similar to the Space Marine book where there are different chapters.
That would be a great loss for them all to be lumped into one list, with all factions triumphs and tragedies forgotten under the crushing weight of the new world to come.

True, but it's looking like that will be the way it goes. Don't get too attached to the druchii, our days are (probably) numbered.
