OOC: FYI, Katon is now Sir Katon (assuming he demands to be so addressed), not Lord Katon (which is not correct anyway, it would be Lord Edios, assuming he chose that as the name for a new house, a right he has not been granted.) Katon proceeded to the armoury, where he was greeted by the Master Sm...

Katon and Tamhas were taken to familiar rooms, though this time without the baggage of two extra people. The fires had been lit beforehand and the rooms were comfortably warm. OOC: FYI Katon, the spears used by Dark Riders are very different from infantry spears. The Lord replied weakly to Katon: "I can't walk, I can barely sit a horse. What would you have me do with a sword and shield?" He then turned to Tamhas: "Shade, when you have permission to speak, ...

Food was prepared, and it was eaten, and there was quiet for a spell. Lord Tariq and his son then began to converse, in whispers that Katon and Tamhas struggled to hear. This conversation went on for a solid ten minutes, but only Katon managed to overhear anything and all he could hear was ".....

Stahl took milled wheat from his pack and told Katon to mix it with water and heat it. "Make sure the mix is thin, he's been starved and his ability to eat solid foood is likely compromised. Heat some water as well. Shade, go and find the other shade's body and get the clothes off it." Wh...

The elf in front of Tamhas obstinately refused to speak again until his questions were answered. Tamhas, his hands unbound, had the upper hand in a contest of wills, and proceeded to deliver a punch to the bound elf's gut before picking him up and hoisting him over his shoulder and making his way o...

Stahl continued to stir as Tamhas got ready to go and find some human tracks. The young noble croaked out "Bring my pack here." before Tamhas left, and the shade complied. "Menlu, menlu." Groaned Stahl, pointing Tamhas to pass him his waterskin. Stahl drank from it thirstily bef...

Rifling through the slave's cold corpse, Katon finds a battered and nearly broken repeating crossbow and a spare clip. The slave's clothes are tattered to the point that they'd provide little to no protection against the cold, though his cloak seems to have once belonged to a dark rider. The dead a...

Katon made his way into the darkness walking quietly, with his eyes peeled and his ears open. For a while, he could hear and see nothing other than the howl of the wind. Between the gusts of wind, he could hear Arlith's swing swaying in the breeze. As he pressed on into the darkness, the trees bega...

Katon, I agree, so much so that it didn't occur to me that it worked otherwise. If I had meant for you folks to wait for me each time you wanted to post, I would have said so in the rules post at the beginning of the RP thread.

Katon sped forwards, screaming bloody murder at the terrified humans, his vision tinged red with Khaine's fervour. The elf ran hard, easily catching up to the emaciated creature and knocking it over with the but of his spear before savaging the creature as it lay on the ground. In his fury, Katon d...

Whether or not you're still fighting is largely up to you at the moment. Any enemies your characters can see have just fled, and you're left with a badly wounded noble, but it's entirely possible for you to pursue the fleeing slaves.

Arlith stepped through the brush, into sight of two humans in trees, their weapons aimed at him. What Arlith failed to notice, however, was that he had stepped into a loop of rope, disguised by fallen pine needles. One of the humans sneered at him before using his bayonnet to cut a line, jerking th...

I'm rustling up some new talent, and by the time the party resolves the mission, you'll have some shiney new friends to play with. In the mean time, I must ask you to be very careful about metagaming. I should not have said that you'd likely die if you continued, and you can assume that if you cont...

OOC: Sorry about the inactivity folks, I was largely broadsided by the largely unexpected loss of two players. I'm still thinking about what to do with the rest if the story arc because if the story continues as it was, with two players, you essentially WILL die. I'm trying to figure out a way to m...

"Tamhas will continue fighting, in a more defensive form, until Stahl would be able to assist him, then move into a more offensive stance."

Stahl just fell over, with a bayonnet and crossbow bolt deeply embedded in his thigh.

Katon and Arlith barreled into the brush in pursuit of their patron, hoping to be at his side before he could come to any significant harm. The thorny brush scratched at their faces and arms, a dozen shallow cuts decorated their faces and forearms. Khaine must have been smiling upon his people, how...
