[ And you kind of get the feeling they are not allowed to be critical of anything. I'm all for positive thinking and 'glass half full' but not everything is 'awesome'... Nothing personal about you, just an observation about the local guys. For some reason, all the thinkers seem to have dissappeared...

They were found by the Death Watch on a mission to a Necron tomb world and permitted by the High Lords for use by the Callidus assassins. While it is against the law for a regular Imperial citizen to be in posession of alien technology it's use can be sanctioned by the right bodies like the High Lor...

I never said that you needed Games Workshop or that it was a good idea to close the forums. The thing is that it seems that someone has breached an NDA and leaked information that was not meant for the public. If sites like Druchii.net insist on showing material that they are not meant to have for m...

Also considering that if games workshop get mad at Druchii.net they can probably just shut them down for breach of copywrite. They have alot of rules about their IP being used on websites that they kindly do not enforce as it would cripple the online community. That said they retain the right to do ...

They are selling bitz packs of things like wings, marine shoulder pads and other random collections. I have seen some of the bitz packs in my local GW today and they were mostly marine shoulder pads that worked out at 50p or 75p each, there was also a Death watch one that gave you all of the bitz ne...

Well don't let them get charged. That is your responsability as a general to use them properly. Knowing that they are only going to be effective for 1 round on the charge then you have to send them in at a moment when you know you will win like charging a flank or at cavalry who have over run into a...

The only unit you are really likely to chage and get no attacks against are Sword masters and spear elves if you are unlucky. ASF does not auto kill your front rank and with sword masters being so expensive they will likely be in small units. This means that we can either shoot of flank them and sti...

Yes I would honesly prefer not to be able to strike back against the Knights in preferance for a better rule which means that Dark Elf infantry cannot take cavalry charges. We are still meant to be fragile but we are meant to be aggresive fragile instead of defensive fragile like High Elves. This ru...

I just posted this on Warseer but the argument it the same so heres my 2 cents. I personally hate the very idea of Spite. My friend calls it improved death because for all your extra attacks for this rule to work your models still have to die. This is a major problem because with an army like Dark E...

We occasionally get the really annoying group of kids coming into the store on Saturdays (well what can I expect it is the middle of Glasgow). Luckily one of our staff members has absolutely no patience for them (yay to Martin) so as soon as they so anything happens he will appear behind them like a...

I've only had 1 game against the new high elves and the guy wasn't that good (he's young and this was his second game with them) but I found that Word of Pain helped alot when I got into combat. You don't need to fear your opponent so much when he is hitting on 5's, wounding on 4's. That spell allow...

The problem is that Manbane is 6th Ed while the Steam Tank (wasnt affected by manbane in 6th) got updated in the 7th Ed empire book. Difference of edition makes it messy, as usual. No it is 2 compleatly different rules sets. Alot of things that didn't work against a previous edition of a units rule...

Only if a Special Rule (which is a rule that applies only to units that have those rules) is brought to bear. The poisoned attacks rules is only in the rulebook to stop it being repeated all over the place but it only applies to units with that rule. Technicaly if you had both poisoned attacks and m...

Note im not saying that I like it or that it makes sense but that is how I would apply the rules whether they are for or against me. Look at it this way. If you didn't know if it could effect the steam tank then where would you look to find the answer. First, the empire rules for the STank. Second t...

NO a poison is not a poison otherwise I would auto-wound on 6's as that is the rules for poisoned attacks . Manbane does not follow those rules so it can wound the warmachine. Listen carefully. There is no rule that says a poison can not hurt a warmachine or a Steam Tank, it just doesn't exist. The ...

Yes it is a poison. But it does not follow the rules for poison attacks . The description of a warmachine and the Steam Tank say nothing about poisons. The rule for poison attacks say that they do not work on a warmachine. Manbane has nothing to do with the rules for poison attacks and therefor can ...
