Try Felherr cases, for £36 i got one that holds 180 models, is much more compact than the GW one and looks smarter, with a shoulder strap. Nice bit of kit.

I dont mind them. I dislike the helmet that looks like it has a silly pair of glasses on it. Other than that I'm satisfied.

The best way Ive found with GW snow is to put some in a bowl, add water, add pva glue and add white paint. It should look like u have just drowned the snow flock but if u scrape up wat is under the water line you get lovely clumps of snow that dry to look great.

It is a good point. However, in a shooty army the witches are dead meat also so it makes little difference if she is on a manticore or not. Everyone knows witch elves, everyone knows they die to paper cuts. You stick a special character in there and they praise the lord of Warhammer.

By using fast units, shades etc. to hunt down mages, war machines andshooting units. You cant stop your elite units getting shot at, but they will attract far less attention if they are 10 strong than if they are 20 strong.

I like that Dreadlord, I will be trying him out often at 2250pts.

Also you have inadvertantly intrigued me about taking Corsairs. I have decided to run 14 of them 7 wide to see what they are like and from what you have said, they dont seem to disappoint.
