One cannot learn a martial art from a book or a video. It will always be the case that you skip the basics to learn the flash moves. Before anyone takes up an art they should consider their body shape and their goals. Most people here chose DE as an army and therefore would tire easily of the more b...

I actually thought it was reidiculous. The Aussies where being such bad sports over that game. Andrew Symonds refusing to walk was ridiculous, when an umpire gives you out, you leave the field, dispute it later about having a bad call done, but you don't simply disregard game officials. And the all...

The reason the Sri Lankans got to number 2 is because they had a series against Zimbabwe, Bangladesh and Pakistan. All of which completely suck. the only half decent team they beat were the English. Being English I resent that remark, the current test team are no way good enough to even be referred...

Sorry if this is a little threadomancy, but I have not been on the forum much recently and thought that last figure deserved a comment. Firstly to say I like what you have done with it, whilst on the surface it would seem to not have enough blades coming off every part of it's body to be an effectiv...

You are right that Warney has retired from the international scene, but is still occasionally causing minor earth tremors in the uk with his county bowling.

Upset that he is no longer a star he has decided to eat all the pies and turn himself into a small planet.

As a fellow Englishman and also a sports fan, I have to point out we have won the ashes many times (only once recently) but were well beaten in the last one. Not sure it was Aussie cheating per se, there were some negative tactics but it is difficult as you have had so many good players lately, many...

Border Patrol army list

So I have some border patrol fights coming up, and I am hoping to play a competetive but fun set of lists (we allow a couple of minutes for the sideboarding of lists once opponent is decided) The basic construction will be- Sorceress with talisman of protection and black staff- 125 5 DR+ music- 127 ...

Would be nice to see a unit like that back, but surely it is a bit early for rumours of the new DE book as it is unlikely to be out much before the end of the year, surely.

PodHammer

Has anyone come across this, it is a podcast available from iTunes dedicated to warhammer, it is possibly not as useful to vets but I have got a lot from it (and they haven't covered DE yet).

I just caught it on the latest episode 10 but am currently working through the older eps.

Is this really a rare thing, I would say (in my humble experience) that an occasion where sliding is / isn't appropriate happens around 2-3 times in each game (as a minimum). I will often have other units supporting my 'fast' frontline units, the problem I have when sliding is introduced is that the...

Really good work, not a big fan of the latex look myself, but maybe that is just not one of my pecadillos, but really like the 'feel' of the figures and (hurrah) a female figure without their t*ts out.

Am I not right in thinking that the errata that is referred to earlier in this thread is the 6th ed errata, and therefore the FAQ response no longer applicable. I played a game recently where I played sliding for the first time (at the opponents request) whilst it did simplify a number of situations...

I would really go for DR in 600 if you can as they are very useful in smaller battles.

Also the official Nemesis crown finished several months ago.

I can't believe GW would drop Malus, he is like the posterboy of the DE and Black Library have invested a lot in him. I would love to see Mengil incorporated fully into the book, does anyone think this is possible or will he shuffle off unti 2010 or whenever they can be bothered to look at the DoW b...

I think him saying it's ok is enough to signify that he realises the current book is not good. He is responsible for WH in GW, it would not make a lot of business sense for him to say that a product was bad (anyone from the UK may remember Gerald Ratner). I do not want a powerful book, I like the fa...

I am really so sorry but all you have done is a piss poor removal of the surrounding of art. I hope you can recover from the poor effort you have delivered.

p.s. keep it up as you are plainly very young!
