I pronounce it as a Druch-ii, the first half starting off as you would pronounce 'Drew' and the 'ch' having a slight 'sh' lisp to it as you work into the 'ii'. If you work too hard on this, you end up saying Dru-shy, and that's pretty close, but I keep the initial 'ch' fairly harsh so that people ca...

The plan goes off, not quite smoothly, but well enough to remain somewhat of a success. Maleuth, doing his part as Lex had pushed upon him to the best of his ability is...not disappointed, no, but somewhat doubting of his abilities following the endeavor. As he replays the events, the death of the D...

OOC: Ahh, but did anyone think that a respectable and intelligent Druchii would try to go out of his way to..I don't know, not attack a Daemon of chaos? haha. I guess that when the nation calls you can't really say no, even if you are risking your hide. IC: At the sound of Lex's voice being directed...

OOC: Dok: My apologies. I was trying to make my first combat post dynamic and flowing as opposed to 'Maleuth will attempt to stab the other dude with his pointy stick'. Looking back it was a little over-board and should have relied more on what could have occurred as opposed to what I said occurred....

Australians are to sporting as Koreans are to Starcraft. I once saw the look of a gentlemen who lost his sponsor game in a gaming documentary and, well, you could see in his face and his eyes that for him it wasn't about having fun with a videogame anymore. Play to have fun peoples. Play to have fun.

Firstly, I would just like to say that I love the theme with your army. The sundering remains a very interested piece of fluff with details worthy of debate and and story changing for everyones perspective. To base an army of the original Cult of Pleasure is a big undertaking. However, I must be hon...

OOC: My money goes to three days. Whilst I know that people rarely spend as much time on the computer as a geek like me, it's still pretty easy to type for 10 minutes every few days. Still, I'm happy to say 4-5 days to give every enough time to post when they wish to as opposed to sticking on a dead...

Oh, by all means, go ahead and indulge your love of sports, we won't stop you. I believe most of us jumped on to reply as the thread title was aimed at fellow countrymen[woman], and Australians have this tendency to band together in groups with pride. We've just explained that sports isn't our cup o...

Why would they say your mad for doing Dark Elves as a first army though? Looking at it, your average Druchii warrior is as strong and tough as any human warrior, but faster and better trained with a generation of experience behind them. Think about that for a moment. Your average human grunt on the ...

We have a cricket team...? Seriously though, I'm not that big on the sports, my father used to drag me along to the cricket each year for one day test matches and I'd either pull a hat down and catch a few Z's, or just read a book. It was just...so boring. Football at least was over in an hour and a...

Hey there Coomb, it's a pleasure to meet you and good to see more Australians around the boards, shows that we're not in the wasteland of gaming after all. Ahh, I remember back when I was knee high to a grot, stepping into my local Games Workshop with a friend and some Dark Eldar in a tackle box und...

Blood Angels, through and through. I've had some trouble getting the right shades of red for my men in red but I'm finding it well worth the trouble. Of all the chapters I've read about [many, although most notably the chaos], the Blood Angels stand at the front as a truly noble yet corrupt [using t...

[quote: Sorceress Announcement] When we sent off for the artwork to be done, we told them all this, we wrote it all down [description of sorceress appearance] and our artists produced kick-ass material. It was absolutely beautiful, we should have some samples appearing around me, if we got approval....

If I remember correctly, the male Sorcerer was accepted into WaR after they sent off the instructions of what a Sorceress would look like to the art crew, and forgot to mention that they were female and female only. When the concept sketches came back, they had a kick-ass Sorceress, and this equally...

Maleuth rests in the dawn twilight, resting somewhere between consciousness and the elven equivalent of sleep. He is distantly aware of the world around him, sounds from outside reaching his ears, scents of a new day's bread being baked and merchants preparing to hawk their wares. Normally, and elf ...

Maleuth curtly nods to each of the party members in turn, accepting their greeting and taking note of their words, induced by the effects of the liquor or not. 'My name' he begins, bowing his head slightly, 'Is Maleuth ira-bael, du'Tabris, formerly of Clar Karond'. Maleuth then moves to take a seat ...

'Oi!' Another elf spoke up, A companion of the first one Maleuth believed, as they were at the same table, 'Come, we have bed and board for the night and our employer doesn't seem to be here to correct me. To Raneth. Let's see now...last purchase was 5 blisters of Daemonettes, the entire stock at my local store, and I intend to do it again in month or so when they least expect it. I need to get a good size of them up for when they get replaced with plastics. Also grabbed some more paints [only missing a few of t...
