The Path of the Outcast is the Ranger path if I'm not mistaken.

Or Corsair, baisically the Eldar take a break from the Path and try to satisfy whatever impulse is haunting them.

Unlike High Elves, who prefer to charm and speak to their animals, the Druchii prefer swift and sharp whip to break and dominate the beast's will.

Think about it this way... can you pack hungry cold ones, hungry hydra, hungry manticore or dragon onto your small raiding ship? Black Ark isn't the only weapon capable of having said creatures. Death Fortress is said to be capable of housing the Manticore, though a person with Man O'War will have ...

Basically, what do you think is warranted in a fluffy corsair list? As you observed, the problem might be how we establish what's true to the background. Anyway, I feel that in a true Corsair list, Corsairs should represent the bulk of the army; warriors can be fielded as an auxiliary force, suppor...

Good people on Warseer would also like to know it. :P

As for the DE book, I wish more books would be written in such fashion. With exception of Hydra, Ring of Hotek and lack of unit cap on Shades the book is gamers dreams come true.

Black Foundry had WH name generator but was shot down. As far I remember surnames sounded rather cheesy; such as Silver-hair, Oak-leaf, Swift-sword etc.

As I see it GW seems to be acting as if the stories in the 6th ed books never occured at all. They do, but the time line in book is stops before the events happen. For those interested, this is what the author said about Eltharion the Grim vs. Eltharion the Sword Master. HE book so can someone chec...

In Warhammer there are actual gods that play with mortals. Warcraft is diffrent; gods may or may not exist and much religion is more or less based on philosophical concepts. Though both systems have Chaos (or Twisting Nether) as a source of magic. Magic is also more dangerous in Warcraft, since it &...

Your background is similar to my own. I based my own story around Shadow Council; council of princes that was formed shortly after Sundering. the difference between corsairs and pirates is that corsairs have the official support of the authorities (an pay taxes) while pirates loot only for themselves (and are not supported by the authorities). Corsairs are sort of Privateers. I mentioned this only because I prefer the term privateer.
