Rabidnid's got it spot on. Don't go near his blocks until the support stuff's dead - a dwarf army stripped of its shooting isn't scary. You probably won't massacre him, so be smart and make sure of a minor firstly.

Statistics may not be the absolute be-all-and-end-all but they definitely help. The blasted standard is 30 points IIRC and MoT is another 20 - it's a 4+ save from shooting and a 6+ in HtH. It's far, far, far from broken - the WoC items in general aren't great tbh but that combo's quite good.
