Re: Rumours about GW in 2014 - not good ones
Uh...I wrote the above quoted line in January of 2014. Isn't this thread necromancy? And it would seem in hindsight that GW did intend to not produce Glade Riders anymore or for that matter any Wood Elves now.

Wow..this thread is still going?
Moderator's edit:
Actually it was not a revival of the "Un-welcome" thread, but a genuine, new question.
Split made.
Let the rant rest in peace.

Really. I think I would rather play the game where you see if you can slap your friend's hand before he moves them than play AoS. Less painful.

He also manages to come off as smug and completely out of touch with the people who play the game he was majorly involved with. Johnson's mentality... I take it you've never met Jervis, or you wouldn't say such things about him. He is a lovely, lovely man who will always be friendly and open toward...

Re: Un-Welcome to the Age of Sigmar
I had an epiphany about it all the other day. GW wanted to end Warhammer Fantasy. Period. It had stopped making money (was generating heavy losses in fact), while 40k continues to go from strength to strength for them. So they just wanted to discontinue Fantasy altogether. Pretty much my feelings t...

No crap. My printer uses more ink to print out movie tickets I buy on line. But...not likely to even waste the ink for this.

Sigi-terminators in size by the looks of it. Check out the bases they're on! Creature looks like a cross between a Dragon and a cat. It looks reptilian with a horned head, forked tail, and vaguely catlike claws. Not a Demi ...yet another departure from what went before. Darnok's latest: Concerning ...

Re: Fluff aside. What does EoT mean for our model range in 9
No source, as some of you know I run a company in the hobby, and word gets around. This is not confirmed but WFB makes about 10% of GW income, some are wondering if there is any point in investing in it, or to commit time and effort on the 90%. This makes sence, with all the other little facts, but...

Re: ROUND BASES ARE HERE!
Oh, don't misunderstand. I am definitely waiting for solid, in-print info, and I don't mind having some new stuff on round bases to mix in with existing stuff. What I'm saying is that if a new rules set expects me to re-base my whole army, it's not happening. Fair enough. I'm not keen on the idea o...

Re: End Times Archaon
I like that Tyrion and Allarielle hold hands and walk off into oblivion as Malekith does a scene form the Mummy Returns (Malekith being Imotep of course).

So suck it T.D. !! Tyrion wins!
Of course ALL of us Warhammer fans lose.

Re: Magic in the End Times: foreign strategy
These rules are just *ass* The larger the scale of the battle, the less terrible these rules become, if only because there is a finite amount of magic dice and you can't swing every combat on the table. However, I wouldn't want to play with End Times magic rules as written in battles of less than 4...

Re: Beyond the End Times - What is next.....
Round bases won't avoid that problem. GW puts 40k models on 25mm, 30mm, 40mm, 60mm, 90x120mm, and 25x70mm bases, which is actually more base sizes than fantasy. Why would a change from square to round fix that problem? *confused* Least we forgot the new 32mm bases! Its going to be boiled down to Go...
