Re: Errd's conversions [PLOG]
Great use of the mask! The face was the bit I didn't like on that old model and that fixed it nicely, the finished result looks really good

Re: Homemade Cauldron of Blood
Looks like a great project to work on, how about working in some sort of movement? The CoB is powered by the gods so anything goes, you could lift the skull slightly and put cotton wool under or around it so it seems to float on mist. Or greenstuff in the tormented souls of all the sacrificed victim...

Great looking army, I really like the variety of hair colour you used on your witches. I used traditional white but after seeing your I might need to redo some. Thanks for posting those pictures

Re: Painting assembled models
Where possible I always assemble first so I can fill any gaps with greenstuff and file smooth, generally leave shields and any mounted models to be painted separately though

http://i.imgur.com/Hq57nnT.jpg http://i.imgur.com/6ZqRpY2.jpg It has been a while since I painted any dark elves, been busy on a side project painting ANZAC soldiers for a museum display. All done now and it was fun to paint something different and at 54mm scale. The final diorama has 5000 Kiwi vs ...

Re: Blickwither's Cthulhu Cult themed Delves PLOG
Looking good, but they are in need of some tentacles
Cthulhu wouldn't be the same without them!
Gills slits on their necks might be a go to, but I wouldn't do thick rubbery lips

A Cthulhu themed army sounds great! start posting some photos and descriptions of what you are trying to achieve with each unit. I will be keen to see how it goes, I love Cthulhu!

#TheSupremePatriach - I hadn't realized the CoB makes the unit immune to stomp! I have lost a lot of witches to that in the past. Thanks

That is very cool, put it on a large base and then it into a unit filler then you can use it every game!

Re: P&M Token/counters competition
Great idea, sounds like fun. What about tokens for fear, terror, stubborn, poison, immune to psychology etc
I made fear tokens using some spiders (not the big goblin one) but couldn't think of a way to represent the others.
So what would anyone else suggest for those?

Re: Tits or no tits ?
Fun idea to haveall female darkshards unit .. tempted to do the same. Definitely worth doing, I made a 10 woman unit of Darkshards a while back - painting their armour red (not topless) to fit my personal back story that they were wannabe witches, but weren't nuts enough, so they dress in red like ...

Re: How to PAINT ?
I as a slow painter it takes me a while to get through a unit - so I do it in very small batches, 2-3 models at a time and have something interesting between each mini group. For example, paint 2-3 rank and file, then the musician, another few, then the champion and few more and then the banner bear...

There are not enough tits in the warhammer world, you have to take every opportunity to balance that out!

I just had a thought... how about a seperate thread, something like Secret Santa gallery, where all the secret santa pictures are re-posted with with a short description but no replys to clutter it up.

Me too! I am really worried it got lost in the post, it should have arrived some time ago! I am told the person I was painting for has not logged on for some time, whatever that may mean, but that doesn't really calm me. And yes, I would love to see all the missing pictures. Hi Rowena - I would lov...

Re: Daeron's Blues
Thanks for the detail, I haven't used glazes before so I looked up Guilliman blue and have decided I need to go out and buy some! I have been using shades and they tend to muddy bright colours, great in some situations but now I know about glazes blending should be better.
Much appreciated!
