Re: Sevekai's PLOG
Thanks xFallenx. I have been absent for a while playing around with some other armies but back to my first serious army. Our friendly neighborhood Dark Elves or End Times Khaine or whatever we end up calling the 9th edition version. One thing I have noted going back to play with these guys, my paint...

Re: Video battle reports?
I watched the DE vs Skaven one. I don't speak any French, but it was still enjoyable. Those armies are beautiful! Are they all GW models? If they are they (you?) did an amazing job with conversions!

Re: A Unit a Month [PLOG] (1 down 11 to go)
These look great! Keep it up.
For the bases, maybe try putting a couple of bases with dirt showing that are only partly snow covered. This along with rocks, sticks equipment would go a long way to make them stand out.

Re: Witchbrew Question
I know that it is an arbitrary ruling, but for what it is worth here is what the US Masters Tourney FAQ says on the subject. 16.2 Witchbrew If more than one model with witchbrew (or whichbrew + Tullaris) is in the same unit, the effects are not cumulative (i.e. only +1 A). The effect provided by W...

Re: Witchbrew Question
I see what you are saying Callisson, but I am not sure that you can make the assertion that "they" includes the logical ALL of the previous sentence. Sorry it has been a LONG time since I took a formal logic class in my undergrad days. The problem is that the rule is written horribly, whic...

Re: Sevekai's PLOG
I have 10 witches so far. They look all right. If it gets to be a bit much I may sprinkle in some Pinks and Purples. The biggest problem with the Witches is trying to rank them up. I love the poses, but man they are a pain in the butt.

Thank you sir. Here are some more poorly lit photos. Will have to do until I get a better solution. Sevekai's PLOG
So...this is a first for me. I am working on my army for Coastal Carnage and figured I would post some pix. Unfortunately, the lighting stinks for some of these shots (with iPhone). I'll post one to start, a preview of my DragonLord. Then figure out how to get better pix and post more. Please feel f...

Greetings from DC,
I have been lurking a while and decided to start participating. I am a fairly new Warhammer player switching from Lizards to Dark Elves. I like the play style of DE and have been having some decent success with them. Just wanted to say hello and hopefully you'll be hearing more from me soon. I am ge...

Re: My friend is discouraged. Help him beat me!
Scar Vets on Cold Ones and Salamanders are by far the toughest of the Lizzie units IMHO. They are also pretty unforgiving for new players. The other effective build is max Skink Skirmishers, a bunch of units to set up multiple dual flees to control movement and set up counter charge. Although effect...

Re: Unit synergies
I have been loving the synergy between a horde of witches with Warlocks 6-dicing Soulblight. Nothing but a cloud of blood mist left in most cases.

Re: Question for those with new Chariot and Cauldron sprues
Cauldron on 4 wheels only will look... weird... like really weird. It will require pretty much redesigning the whole contraption to look balanced on 4 wheels. I agree, I wonder though. How might we modify the CoB to make it look like it is a floating chariot rather than on wheels. It is the Will of...

Re: Question for those with new Chariot and Cauldron sprues
The wheels on the CoB are a bit smaller than the one chariot wheel, which actually surprised me when I looked just now. The axle is much wider than the chariot but I imagine you could trim the width easily enough. Should work just fine.
Cheers!
