Re: Brexit

literally what the f*ck?! "who'd have guessed she'd [justine greening] be a conservative?" . i literally have no idea why you are surprised at that. don't bother explaining to me either. i vote conservative and consider myself to be a good person voting in the interest of the country as a ...

Based on Wood Elf Glade Guards, personally I love the Corsair box for her bits, but the options are unlimited :)

yellow is a colour not oft-seen - you've done a baller job! very Baratheon - love it!!! does anyone actually use them in horde formation though?! i spin my 40 the other way, 5x8 and try to hold ground for a short while!! Amazing-looking unit, especially with so many. WELL DONE! Adding my own puny 15...

very disappointed that killer instinct has been removed from the unit previously known as executioners and all the other units that have lost it.

Re: 9th Age v .99 feedback

Actually I've been thinking and I'd much prefer if murderess prowess was an army-wide special rule. Executioners for instance, I'd rather have the re-rolls to wound than the Hatred and exorbitant points cost. Nabh shouldn't have to mean Hatred... can we not just keep it simple?

Re: 9th Age v .99 feedback VERSUS DWARFS

i just played dwarfs and... we have problems. they are incredibly tough compared to our pansy-ass army. wow. - they had army-wide hatred on all my decent units (and even my spearmen - 4 grudges total) thanks to the grudges being against one unit now, not necessarily character. he had a war throne wh...

Re: 9th Age v .99 feedback

BLOODY IRISH?! i'm setting my army aflame then! re feedback, i generally quite like it. i don't think murderess prowess should have been taken from the cult units if they're charging for the points upgrade (to characters at least)... harpies still seem over-costed compared to demon furies and gyroco...

if you're moving around in two ranks then go for the great weapons, you only get one supporting attack anyway. always great weapons!

Re: 9th Age Army books link

which universal -1D6 to flee roll is this you speak of? We pretty much knew what was coming from the sneak peeks, so there's no real surprises here. I like that Cults are no longer a 'no brainer,' and non-aligned lists are a valid option. 1+ AS Peg/Steed characters are back in a more balanced form. ...

hmm well. the k-beast is far too vulnerable, i'd never take one again. the hydra is fun though with its proper regen save. hydra with flamebreath is great against skirmishing elven infantry like waywtchers etc. use the hydra!

Re: 9th age: Hydra or kharibdyss?

To be totally honest, the cauldron is better. Spend your 200pts on that and either ward save your execs or +1 attack them whilst they're in combat. The hydra is an interesting bullet magnet though... But the cauldron is a tough chariot too!

Re: Ramza trying his best at painting

an easy win is to paint light and wash dark. light grey with a black wash for instance. the witch elves, i painted a bugger load of them in the last couple of years and would advise spraying white (obvs) and wash the skin directly into the white. i used 1 part red wash, 1 part light brown and 1 part...
