Re: Welcome to the Age of Sigmar
Is that the first known instance of an internet troll?
Surely he's got to be patient zero?
Edit. The guy in the video that is, in case the poor person above me thought that was aimed at them!

And she was all about trying to become a god, I'm guessing we get a reborn, possibly renamed Morathi.

I personally thought it was more interesting that the new symbol looks remarkably like Morathi's crown myself...

Like everything else, we will have to wait and see.
That being said, I think the notion that AoS was hastily done or is not being heavily invested in to perform in the best manner for the most people is slowly being put to bed.

Any interest in doing the details on the various kit outs for the Glade Lord on foot while you're in a number crunching mode Daeron?

Re: Welcome to the Age of Sigmar
I honestly think that this is very much what it was rumoured to be; a Ravening Hordes style update and I think it has that same level of detail and seriousness. I don't see GW not releasing rules for the factions of Age of Sigmar moving forward and I think that is when we're going to get the cull to...

Re: Welcome to the Age of Sigmar
Yeah, I'm digesting at the moment for sure. There's lots of potential here, lot's of possibilities. I like the synergies you can get, I like the formation rules but at the same time it's obvious there are some giant holes in what we know, what we've got so far... It's one of those interesting times ...

Re: 9th Edition Rumours
I think that's largely a matter of opinion; I personally find the new Wild Riders and Treeman kits truly awesome.
Amboadine just confirmed that GW don't own Mantic, so the sale must not have gone through at any rate.

Re: Welcome to the Age of Sigmar
I think the Aelfs will all be in that nice state of neutrality the Asrai had that allows us to shank whoever we want, to start with at least. That being said, two or three of the new Realms are built around the winds of Light, Life and Shadow; so Tyrion (already named in the fluff), Alarielle and Ma...

Re: 9th Edition Rumours
That's news to me and I can't find anything on google...
So I'd say that's a no?
They would have also had to buy Mantic I would imagine, though to what end I can't imagine.

Re: Welcome to the Age of Sigmar
I must say that I like the background fluff I'm reading today; I like the 8 realms, nine with Chaos I suppose, I'm liking this quite a bit. I'm still hoping for a larger rules system or expansion rather and some sort of force organisation/points value, but at this point I think there's going to be p...

Re: 9th Edition Rumours
Once the rumour started going around that there would be no larger 'rule book' I immediately thought to myself: well it's not like GW would release a campaign supplement that changed the status quo rules and add to them.
Then I remembered End Times was a thing and now I'm not so worried.

They might actually pull this whole thing off guys... they might actually make this game thrive and really great to play (or good at least).
These bits of information feel huge.

Re: 9th Edition Rumours
You know this might just be me, but the longer I stare at those Sigmarines the more I think they could look pretty good in the middle of the right Empire army if they had the right paint job. Funny as it is, they are starting to feel more good guy chaos warrior than medieval space marine to me. Dunn...

Re: 9th Edition Rumours
In defence of Mannfred... it's not all his fault. So? Goat tastes the same whether it is the scape variety or not and I say Twilight meets the bangstick for his role in the end. It will serve as a lesson to the rest of them. In all seriousness I am interested to see the direction they go with for t...

Re: 9th Edition Rumours
Looking at these models makes me think two things... First, weren't the pre Space Marines called Thunder Warriors?
Second, I think I'm going to have to build a Mannfred and shoot him with my hunting rifle. Damn it Mannfred!

Re: 9th Edition Rumours
I think the overwhelming response of people at the moment is wait and see. I know I am, short of picking some bits up to finish my wood elves, even if I never play them in 9th/AoS. Sure would like to be able to add some stuff though, fingers crossed this is going to be good, I want to make up some W...
