Re: The Hour of the Wolf -- House Arhakuyl

As always, a very enjoyable read, Tarbo, and I am delighted to see that this is not quite dead yet. The continuing adventures of Santhil remain hilarious and, for me at least, a pleasant reminder of the campaigns in question.

Alright then. Here is a list using Ravagers that I've worked out. It features a second Haemonculus instead of Lelith, principally because I needed a second cheap HQ to babysit the Grotesques, but I could switch them out for her instead. Again, if there is a better way to equip the squads, please let...

Thank you both for your comments. I did forget one unit that’s work in progress – 8 Trueborn, 4 with Carbines, two with Splinter Cannons and two with Blasters. Also, if I need more Dark Lances to deal with vehicles, do you have any suggestions about where to get them? I have a Razorwing, which mount...

Help with Dark Eldar Please

Dear Druchii.net members, Next Wednesday, I'm going to be playing a game with my new Dark Eldar army. This will be my first time using it, and I realise I've not exactly got an ideal list. I don't necessarily want a tournament level list, but I would like an outside chance of winning and it has to b...

You know, somehow the infrequent updates to this are a good thing. I keep thinking it is dead and then being very pleasantly surprised to get an D.net email and being able to read some more of your very entertaining story. Excellent update as always and I look forward to the next part. That would be...

I've got two stories... One's from 40K, back an edition or two, when I was playing Chaos Marines against Necrons. First turn, my 2 Obliterators morphed autocannons and fired at a squad of Necron Warriors, on the off chance they'd take out one or two. They promptly downed four Warriors. The squad the...

Aza raised an eyebrow. "I hope I'm not dead, but there's a majority of votes against me. Any defence would surely be futile. But alright then." She paused. "I think that a fair number of those who voted for me are in a rush. It is still morning. We have the rest of the day to debate, ...

Aza shrugged a little. "I was about to speak again when votes for me began to rain in and it suddenly seemed more than a little pointless. As most seemed more interested in just voting for me than in saying anything there was precious little for me to say that I had not already said. I stand by...

“To answer your points in order,” Aza finally spoke up, “I did not go for Deroth first. Also, when I said that me placing a vote would give you something to discuss, I meant exactly what I said. We have only our words to defend or condemn us, so saying anything is better than nothing. Would a traito...

Aza stirred slightly from where she'd been sat, quietly listening. Or possibly sleeping. It was hard to tell, although it would be odd for a soldier to actually sleep when among a group like this. "I had meant to speak, but time ran away. Nor did I have anything of value to add - I will attempt...

Next to Gyla, a younger Druchii woman sat straight backed as she regarded the rest of the gathered elves with pale eyes. Her hair was cropped short in the style of the soldiery and she had the lean, hard look of someone who’d spent far too much time considering ways to kill other people. But then th...

Zenobia’s lip twitched, the only apparent reaction to the votes cast against her other than the steady rhythm that her fingers tapped out on the table. “Apparently Telrunya is persuasive. However, I find it interesting that no one has chosen to consider my counter argument, nor to even press any oth...

“I agree with Telrunya on at least one point. Belial is not the most obvious suspect. After all, it is a huge gamble to assume that he could kill Kefka and not be suspected. Possible, but unlikely. After all, Belial was one of two people that was within two votes of death yesterday. Drawing more att...

This time the Corsair's look was vaguely quizzical. "I did not attack Cathel - I was including him in the group under attack by Nilia. I do not believe that was an attack. As to Malberoth, I admit I might have made a mistake there. But, at this point, what I said or did then is not something I ...

Zenobia threw a level stare across the table at Kefka. "I defended Belial because, at the time, Malberoth was trying to attack one of the few people to keep this council moving for no apparent reason. At that time, it appeared that Malberoth might be guilty. He still might be. Further I did not...

Zenobia let out a harsh bark of laughter at Kyler's statement. "Actually, I think that the most obviously suspicious person now is you to a point. Why? Because all that you are doing by accusing those who are trying to get something done is impeding the progress of this council. And that either...

“I agree with Belial.” Zenobia leant forward as she spoke, sharp grey eyes flickering from one face to another, eyes set in a thin face that was hardened by years spent at sea. Her hair, which she’d long ago dyed a dark blue, was tied back in a tight braid. Other than that, she was unremarkable, onl...

"Ah, a story?" Zenobius nodded his head. "It sounds good to me, Sleek, but you forget one thing. I'm a bureaucrat. I like proof, rather than pretty stories. Now, there is definitely something to what you say. But let me present an alternate theory. Where best to hide? In the person wh...
