Striking in initiatiave order - 5th edition anyone? and as for it being not how combat worked, i beg to differ. if a slow idiot charges at you you step out the way. simple as. Initiative. Perhaps in a skirmish but not in a unit. First the units impact one another and then the hand to hand starts.

Striking in initiatiave order - 5th edition anyone? Percentage break up of armies - 5th ed again... Striking in initiaive order didn't work and, in most cases, is not the way HTH combat in ancient/medieval period worked. Lets face it we are playing ancients with magic, flying and weird races. Charge...

I'll expand on that - ranks bonus will be absed on the size of the base. 20mm 5 per rank, 25 4 per rank (incl cav) 40 3 per rank. Include impacts for all heavy cav ie not fast cav and that will get cav and ranked trrops back in the game in a big way. Especially if changes to weapksn are changed - ie...

Summary of what I've heard, in relation to 8th rules. Magic system overhauled possibly with random magic dice each phase with rolls modified by the level of the caster - this would explain the ultra high casting values in Skaven and BOC. Magic before movement - will make primal surge worthwhile. Mor...

The one time I have seen sportsmanship scores not abused was when the inter-round scores were kept secret and each player had to assign a one-time bonus of X points to the player they thought was the *most* sporting. I have seen it abused as well but then i would never play in a tourney without som...

It's because of the jungle- wheeled vehicles and trees don't get on. The troops left out are not a reason to not play the COP nor is the breakdown of troops 1 chaos character, 7 unit choices against 3 DE characters (counting the anointed), a new DE unit (Devoted) plus 6 DE unit choices (counting war...

One unit or several? If one that is a great waste but I'll assume no one is that crazy and go with 3 of 20.

Lustria is our target in the campaign. Are you not soldiers in the sevice of Malekith? If you are then you are bound to obey his orders and attack Lustria. ie Stop worrying about Ulthuan and get used to the fact that we are attacking Lustria. If you don't like the target we have been given don't tak...

In fact my suggested plan was - Arnheim - remove the Asur from an area so close to our land and provide another launch pad for future invasions of ...
