If you check the annual Q&A (It is either 2002 or 2003 ) It clarifies movement for monster units like the War Hydra and the Salamanders, in that they line up for combat (and close for combat) as if they were skirmishers, but otherwise do not act as skirmishers.

Hope that helps.

You would make a "pass in the night" roll for moving from 3->2 and 2->3, because that is the only place where that could be legally tried.

And, the rule about not taking place in territory 2 is there to keep people from trying to block the orc movement.

Hope this helps.

Why alienate a group of core players and collectors (Wood Elf people) for some army that few if any have expressed real interest in collecting? I think this is because of all of the "rumored" problems they are having with the wood elf testing. My thought is they want more guaranteed play testing ti...

I love TK. Love love love... They have pretty powerful, yet subtle magic, very nice shooting (in fact, I play a "come get me" style army, and win the majority of the time with it), and the King is fricking mac, man! What's not to like? In all reality, though, I think they are probably MORE versatile...

They are awards for the various people who have done good things for druchii.net-i.e. DA and Langmann for their hard work in the revision, as well as others for other things.

Frankly, you are only allowed, by the rules, to aim at the units you can see-not at any other units. So, purposely over-guessing is bad sportsmanship, and is technically illegal both by the letter of the rules and the spirit of the rules.

Actually your right about the charge thing but that's rarely an issue if you go of the far edge, either the game is over or you have no units in your charge arc having just gone through the space they would have occupied in order to leave the table. Overall makes no difference because the "reform" ...

It only apples to casting the spell. The High Elves have the opposite ability, IRC-+1 to dispelling.

IF you are still unconvinced, go look at the wording of the Dispel rod-you will see it is very similar, just with regards to dispel, not cast.

No, not at all-the chariot is still a mount for the noble, so you could have 2 nobles, 1 in each chariot.

As Furion said. :)

Frankly, stone throwers are better than cannons for LOS purposes-of course, cannons are better in general, in my experience. :)

@auric: You might also want to make sure that you have the newest version of Adobe Acrobat. That can make a fairly large difference. AS for Mac vs PC-I have not tried to view it on a MAC (nor will I-the only ones I have access to are pieces of junk), so I can't really help too much there-but I might...

how many attacks does Shadowblade get? It says he has two hand weapons so I am assuming it's 6 +1 fro the add'l hand weapon.. (I anticipate and argument about this in an upcomming game) Yes. How many harpies can rank up vs. one man size models in regards to close combat (due to their wings it's arg...

Auric, I will bet it is your resolution on your PC. Can you make the resolution higher, or change some of the options to get a larger view window?

edit:

Auric, if you are still having problems, PM me and I will try and replicate your error, and see if I can fix it, K?

salamanders and terradons are nice-terradons for warmachine/flanking, salamanders for infantry/soft targets.

I hate playing against them. Personally, I find them to be very frustrating, and I have yet to find a way to kill a 2nd Gen. Slann with any army of mine. <Sigh>

So, personally, I feel the army is a bit beardy.

Special characters are usually too beardy anyway so a sea dragon cloak owuld make little difference unless Darkblade is on his own for some reason. Frankly, I find Malus to be just about right for the points cost-he is slightly better than a fully decked out lord on a cold one, and his points tend ...

correct dungeon_god. unless it happens on the last turn... At which point they would still not count towards your oppo's victory points... if it were the last turn then it would make no difference, any other turn and it's a free 180 turn. Linda is correct on part 1, No you could not redirect as you could not wheel more than you would have for your original charge. That is to say that when redirecting you may not wheel any more than you would have had to wheel in the original charge. And, yes, the mounts do get the additional attack w...
