Re: Brexit
According to what I have read, 100 000 of those 500 000 became members of LP after Corbyn became leader. That is my definition of "a lot". Out of a population of 65 million, that's not a lot. That is 25% surge. Or rescaled for Czech Republic with population of 10 million, that would be ab...

Re: Brexit
So there is clearly a lot of leftist voters who felt unrepresented by centrist Labour party. You have an odd definition of "a lot". The Greens have exactly one MP. The party has around 60,000 members, compared to 150,000 Conservative Party members and 500,000 Labour Party members. Green P...

Re: Brexit
Hm. Well. Look, I think Jeremy Corbyn is a good, decent, principled human being. But Labour needs a leader who can actually run a successful general election campaign. How many of those has it had since the 1950s? Just two: Harold Wilson and Tony Blair, both of whom were arch-moderates. Radical lef...

Re: Brexit
Just some random thoughts. If I may cut in.. This disillusionment is not unique to the UK. Belgium suffers from it as well, and I dare say the problem is wide-spread in Europe. In general, people have a negative view about politics.. Some of the emotions I see return are: - A very negative perceptio...

Re: Brexit
Watching your debate, I am quite glad I do not live in UK. Does you conservative party really have no one better then these two? Apparently not. To be fair, Theresa May would have been my choice out of the initial rogues gallery anyway. Given the choice of Boris the Buffoon (what a complete cockwom...

Re: Druchii Warband 1.0 .pdf
We have been thinking about starting a campaign, my mate however is certain that elves are to overpowered for a ballanced game! He has a lot more experiencewith mordheim so im building a witchhunter band! Is he overreacting? Or is playing druchii a bit unfair? During design, we have tried to make t...

Re: Couple questions about druchii warbands
Sorry for the late answer, I have somehow missed your question... -What are your thoughts on the crossbow pistols? Expensive, aye, and not all that reliable in CqC, but easy on the eye and quite flexible if you're not going classic shooty elf with your warband. I want to get some of those, but maybe...

Re: Revert to Cold One "Beasthounds"
Just browsing some the old threads it appears that Cold One hounds were abandoned because of no Games Workshop models that were suitable. This was when it was hoped to have the warband "officialised" by GW. I don't know if that is still a goal nowadays. A question for Loflar.... Exactly. ...

Re: Darksteel Daggers
I think I know the answer to this one already but I thought I'd put it out there. In the warband rules it says you pay 3x the price for darksteel weapons. So if I get my first dagger for free.. ummm.. my maths is not good but: 3 x 0 = 0 So I could fit my warband out with darksteel daggers for nadda...

Re: Druchii warband, XP version
You might try asking at http://boringmordheimforum.forumieren.com/ , but personally, I don't know. Our group plays our own campaigns with our rule modifications. We have never tried Coreheim, so I have no experiences with that.

Re: Druchii warband, XP version
Hi, 1.0 is the "official". XP is eXPerimental. 1.0 is newer (although it does not look like it from forum index).

Re: Dark Elf Names
Since Naggaroth is located in similar place, as Canada of the real world, I use Algonquin names ( for example http://babynames.merschat.com/index.cgi ... =Algonquin ) for my Mordheim warband.

Re: Warband Karrond Kar Slavers
I'm thinking of switching the axe of Stronghunter (+S & BS) to a Halbert as soon as money allows and he can pick up Lightning relfexes. This should help vs armoured targets since armour is boosted by our house rules. I would wait until he gets +A. I'm not really sure what to do with the wounded...

Re: Druchii warband, XP version
Yes, changing parrying (in our group we have tested parrying by to-hit roll) makes parrying useful and game better. Instead of raising AS, we tried to lower armour price and lower number of armour ignoring critical hits, and it also helped. Since Strength skills are not available for elves, combat +...
