the first noble on foot is amazing, the others are good but im loving the twin swords... its cool. painting is top notch, you use a similar style to mine for highlighting black though a but more refined. pip pip, one-eye

16 Saurus warriors should have been easy to kill as they would get absolutely no rank bonus if they were ranked up 4 by 4. it would help if we knew what you had in your force. However I would just recommend attacking from flanks and front at once... should do enough damage that their lack of rank bo...

Considering you are bad with GS i would recommend getting silverhelm legs and attaching a DE warrior body. Then do a weapon swap and wala! Decent-ish highborn. Cheers, One-Eye

Whoa... upon reading the topic title I thought I might be disappointed. However, that truly is a very well painted army. I like the way the skin turned out on the noble. It should fetch a good price. Cheers, One-Eye

Hmm i seem to recall there being a conversion of some sort of C'tan into a nurgle DP in the Oz WD coverage of Dogcon. Might want to look that up? Think it was two or three issues ago. I myself converted Belakor but I only did a head swap and a weapon swap... anything else would be killing the detail...

I painted my army in drow tones and i was very pleased with the results. The trick is to build it up fairly light. However, what some people do not understand with drow is that they live underground so they have black skin. So although it doesn't fit in with GW fluff after reading of Drizzt Do'Urden...

twinkle was the blue sword although i agree he made it a little light. Drizzt does use a bow in the first trilogy but I think he loses it. It was just a little too much effort to remove I believe. Cheers, One-Eye

Drizzt Do'urden model (pics)

Hey all, my 17 year old brother asked me to take some pics on his recent conversion and so I did. It is a model based on the Forgotten Realms character Drizz't Do'Urden. Check the picture below for an example of what is looks like... feedback is welcome - I'll relay the info to him. http://i8.photob...

I do agree that the Atlanta entries seem to be sub-par and the europeans are all very good. However, I would say that the Australian GD winners are every bit as good as the European models. Take a look at this years winner's and see how good the NMM is on the winning WH Single miniature is. Patrioti...

The skirmishers fearing ranked units is ridiculous to be honest. It would severely cripple WE and BoC! Also if they are going to make it 5 wide frontage they should make movement trays to that size. Apart from that I am looking forward to them toning down the magic phase a little. cheers, One-Eye

These are some pretty fine models and i think that using gloss varnish on coloured armour is a great idea very lacquered looking. However in regards to matt varnish looking glossy this can happen if too much is used. hope this helps, One-Eye

that is a very good model! however, it looks very shiny. did you use gloss varnish? if so you should perhaps use matt varnish next time. the gold on the circlet is exellent but it does not seem that well done on the shield and hilt. This is perhaps because you cannot clearly see the studs or much sh...
