I would actually consider dropping the lvl 2, since power dice arn't chared anymore (in 7th ed). And this might mean that magic gets toned down (but i'm not sure on which direction the gamers will bring the game). With a 175pts to spare you do get a Noble on CO (with SOG and possibly more another ma...

@ elvenmaster: If you calculate the cost for the 20 Wariors you can se that they do have shields.

I agree with Dvyim and elvenmaster, chariots, scrolls and in order to get them dropp the RBT's or some Dark Riders.

I'm looking forward to the book as well. Could be really interesting, and that mechanical boar is an enchanted item right? Ras, since I'm going to London in three weeks, and to stay for three years and I'm thinking about a Orc army too. Black Orcs Bosses and stuff. Shall we do a Tale of Orc and Gobb...

Only time I ever used it in foot unit was in a 20 elf strong Black Guard unit (6 wide). Well, it as a treat, but I would not recomend it since the unit will be very expensive, and in a tournament setting there is bound to be some shooting... But that was an really interesting set up, with 6 BG attac...

Tutorials at Warhammer World

Well, my green stuff work isn't that subtle or good so I was wondering if the tutorilas offered at warhammer World is worth their costs, and if anyone has any experience with them? The really looked good in the WD that featured it but I'm not really trusting the WD anymore. I would like to get some ...

It will depend on what I'm facing and how he sets up his units. There is a need to be flexible in certain situations. 6x4 is going to be very tempting in some cases...

I belive that Scatcha is trying to say is; that when the ranked unit charges you have to align with the ranked units center (middle man in unit but esentially, middle model in the front rank) to the center of the skimrishers (middleman in the group). Not to the closest model and align the way you wa...

The BSB will also increase the chance of the 1-1 for Sheer Heroism (or what ever it is called in the 7th ed).

Since next to noone used BSB's those two changes might work to bring the BSB's back into the game.

I already use a BSB in my Druchii army, and will quite naturally continiue to bring him along in the 7th ed army. That the BSB banner will be cumulated with the unit banner is just a bonus for me.

The thing is I want to live by myself not in one of the dorms/corridors/student homes, I've been there and didn't feel like experiensing it again. It will also be handy when my wife comes to London for a visit... ;) So that's why I'm looking for a studio by myself.

Nice report, and it sounds like an interesting game too. I like the combo of the Caludron and Venom Sword, I might actually steal the idea. I have used the Venom Sword in a couple of tournaments actually, and it is a nice combat multipler against Ogres and Minos that are usually feilded. And I have even had sucesses against some monsters, Hydras, Mantis and Hippogrifs and Griffons. The problem is usually the possible Armour save... Gett...

I use it regulary on my BSB (on foot) along with Blood Armour. It works great IMO. With three attacks your bound to do at least one autowound, and hit with another.
