Re: Sorceresses & Warlocks -- Summon Daemons in Here! (NSFS

Come on, I know there are more than three really sick puppies on this forum... yOu caLleD, massSster? Also, I don't want Druchii.net banned from its server. And then the cables severed, the room fumigated, the servers bleached, and then building burned down and the ruins put into nuclear quarantine...

For the Lid+ option, you gotta pay £200, guv. Dem's the breaks. Lids don't come cheap in this town.

(feels smug about knowing French) I've never really understood where the popular myth came from that knights were immobile or couldn't pick themselves up. If anything, anything humanity gets right, it's how to better and faster kill other people. You can't do that making sand angels, trying to get u...

I just can't believe the excerpt quoted by TD in the OP. I don't think I've ever seen a corporation permit such a ... careless... borderline trolling text to be published. In fact, if it weren't quoted by TD, I would have been sure this was fake. [...] I really doubt the source, and if not the sour...

Most esteemed Dreadlord, Lord of our Redsky Fleet, It is with heavy heart and great regret that I must inform you of the failure of your meticulously planned raid on the occupants of our proper and rightful home, the motherland of Ulthuan. Re: Chat Supported on IOS?

I'm not sure if the site's Java applet will do well in your case. If you can find an IRC client for your OS, it should be as simple as following the instructions in A guide to setting up the chat using mIRC and chatzilla.

“Freak! Freak! Freak!” From a distance, Santhil gave the cruel children a sharp, vindictive glance, but pressed on into the thick mist they had scared the little girl into. The mist was higher here, making it difficult for Santhil to see. As she followed the sad crying, she forced herself to slow do...

Sun decided to ramp up the security of Java, *cough* Oracle *cough* Oracle bought Sun Microsystems around April 2009. Perhaps it is time to seek out a newer version of the applet? The certificates have long since expired, and there may be promising alternatives out there. $ jarsigner -verify -verbo...

For instance, if my opponent declares a charge that will put a unit somewhere where it will let me crush them with a counter charge, and I'm pretty sure he's half an inch out of charge range, but he fudges the measurement (or begins moving it after a cursory check and declaring himself to be in ran...

My feeling is, yes, the ethical thing to do is to correct him. I would have a lesser opinion of someone who wouldn't point out this error--perhaps, however doubtful, an honest mistake--except when to their advantage. Assume ignorance over malice. I would not go so far as to claim you would be cheati...

Re: Experimenting with Female Gaming Poses(pic heavy)

I tend to be drawn to the face quickly, so that's where my first impression comes from. That's not to say poses are wasted on me, but they tend to leave only a secondary expression. (As an aside, the example picture of the boy is a mugshot, while those of the girls are bodyshots.) 1) Confidence with...

Re: Can playing Dark Elves turn us EVIL?!

Ooh, I could write a whole article about this. But let's not do that right now. In general, I'd say: "no, don't be ridiculous." If anything, playing 'evil' characters has made me more aware of ethical implications and ambiguity in my own culture and reasoning, and more sensitive to the vie...

Re: How common is infighting between Druchii houses?

There is no need for treachery to have infighting. Conflict can occur for perfectly legal and acceptable causes, even without a clear transgressor. For instance, imagine you and your friend as neighbouring fiefdoms with rich mines and forests bearing high-quality wood at your border. Most of the tim...

Sorry about not voting. It was sort of a joke entry, and then I started reading the other ones to put votes, and people rang the door and I forgot.

Congratulations to the victors, and thanks for the writing, everyone! We have some seriously prolific people in the community. :)

The Good Doctor's 10 ways to (maybe) survive Death Night! ⋅  Keep 'em busy. Open a Chaos Gate. Get two sorceresses to cross the streams . Nothing ups your chances of survival like instilling those around you with a greater sense of emergency. ⋅  Hide in the temple. Seriously. Dea...

What a mess. While fresh and clean from her morning bathing, Yalasmina's mirror image was confrontational and unceremonious. Bags lingered wealthily under her eyes, underlining a desire for the day to end right this moment so she could retire to her bed. Her pupils were small and contracted, her loo...

Silly question: what happens when two posts on the same page view use the same anchor names? Is this changed behind the scenes to make them unique (but how would linking work)? The winter sun shone starkly on the sober but flimsy curtains, casting a full, diffuse light into the room. A profound, calm silence hung pleasantly to go with the light. While Yalasmina seemed too preoccupied to even notice, Lahnia did occasionally let het eyes wander across the room before adjusti...

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "the second part of the dark elf language." Do you mean the magazine it was showcased in?

Google brought me to Yumpu, which seems to be hosting the D.net magazine.

Is this what you are looking for?
