Aspects of Khaine

Which Aspects have been mentioned in the background anywhere?

Also, how many Aspects is Khaine said to have? I dimly recall reading somewhere that he has 1,001 aspects, but now I can't find where I read it so I might have just imagined it.

Major snag - despite copious scrubbing and washing, the paint simply will not stick to the shoulder/carapace bits. I've tried various household cleansers with little positive result. Fellow painters have suggested I try engine degreaser. If/when I can get to an auto store I'll see if there's some av...

I played the demo of MoK and I must agree with Red. Compared to the similar Total War style games, it just doesn't do it for me.

There's a WH mod for M2:TW out there somewhere. I think there might even be a thread about it on this forum. Haven't played it myself so I can't give an opinion.

I reckon I could make the crosses no problem, but I'm more worried about getting the dead and dying nailed up on them - I'm not really that good a modeller. I'll have a look through various ranges though and see if there's something that looks like it could be moderately easy to pose right.

Crucifixes (historical Roman, not religious) in 28mm?

I want to make some unit fillers. Looking for a source of slaves on crucifixes in 28mm scale. Preferably not bearded, crown-of-thorns wearing, with spear in side of abdomen. ie just generic Roman crucifixions without any particular religious connotations. Would also be willing to accept medieval tor...

I have tried a palette, which is how I know I don't like using it. It's just my own personal preference.

I have some vallejo. Nice paint, but I paint from the pot (I don't like using a palette) and vallejo comes in dropper bottles.

I've also tried some P3. They're pretty good.

My painting is nowhere near Golden Daemon quality though, so take what I say with a suitably large pinch of salt.

GW paints have been getting more and more expensive and coming in smaller and smaller pots. I used to use them exclusively, but now that there are several competing brands readily available I've started to switch. Just as good quality and range of colours, but in bigger pots for less dollars.

Smilies in Quick Reply (Bug report)

When I click the Smilies button in the quick reply, I get a pop-up window that says "hacking attempt" and nothing else.

(Sorry if this is the wrong forum but I couldn't find anywhere that looked more appropriate. Please move if necessary)

I'll probably be laughed off the forum for this, but I cannot stand the current DE range. Most of my models come from the 4th edition of the game, and I much prefer that look to the current spiky vampire-wannabe style.

This right here is enough to convince me that whoever makes these restrictions doesn't actually know very much about Dark Elves. Nobody takes them anyway so why bother restricting them?

It cost me less than $80 Aus including shipping and currency conversion charges. Considering the rulebook retails for $124 and new-style army books for $69, I don't think that's an excessive dollar value.

Even if your plan actually worked, you should know that he'll still have ranks on you, thus be steadfast, thus not likely to take many instability casualties at all.

It probably was undercosted before, but the new army books seem to be dropping the price of monsters so I'd guess the hydra won't go up by much if any.

Spirit Leech vs ridden monsters

If Spirit Leech is cast on a ridden monster, can the caster choose to target either the monster or rider? Or is it randomised like normal shooting? And is the rider's Ld always used regardless?

Sorry if this has already been answered, I couldn't find it using a search.

Would a horde of monstrous infantry really be worth its points? They need to be six wide, so eighteen models for a 6x3 formation. Eighteen ogres is 540 points nekkid, is too wide to manoeuvre with any finesse, and only half of them will get to attack a standard 5-wide 20mm based unit.

If it wasn't for all the SKULLZZZZ!!!! on that graveyard it would be quite nice. As many have said on warseer, I think a Garden of Morr is actually the one place I would expect to find so many skull motifs in the fantasy world. Motifs yes, but randomly impaled on fenceposts and lying on the ground?...
