I prefer Death and Life, for large Purple Suns and Dwellers.

Would be interested in buying your Morathi, if you'd want to sell her separately. PM me.

Re: Beastslavers of Hag Greif's Plog

Really liking the airbrush-work on the beasts. I would, however, possibly go over the gold plating on the Carnosaur with a knife or file to remove the Lustrian runes, and then add a layer of Agrax Earthshade or Seraphim Sepia to them to really make them stand out. And I don't see any problems at all...

Re: Conversion?

Conversions are really fun, and they don't have to be amazingly complicated. A simple head-swap, filing off some of the High Elf gems and placing some spikes or blades, or replacing a weapon or shield is often enough. Then when you feel up to the task, advance carefully onto other projects, kitbashi...

Re: [PLOG] Khazmonites - progression

The sorceress looks really nice, great skin tones. I haven't got any of the new warriors, do they include some female versions like the old kits? They sadly do not. All female druchii are now Witches or Beast Mistresses. On topic, a great start. Very fond of the sorceress, particularily her hair. T...

I absolutely love the belly on the tiny dragon. That detail to me just does SO much for this model. And the pink as well, perfect contrast.

Wow.

Re: [PLOG] The Realms of Kar Amenti.

Thank you all for the kind words - theme and colour scheme are both major things for me, and getting such positive feedback on both means a lot. @ Cult of Khaine; I actually really like the base paint. It's a bit tricky at first since you don't thin it at all, and have to literally "blotch"...

My own 1000 point list is: Pegasus Master, Lance, HA, shield, SDC, Cloak of Twilight 21 Witches, FC, Flaming Banner 2x5 Dark Riders, Shields and RxBs, Musician 2x5 Shades 6 Harpies RBT It's a lot of models, and it really forces your opponent to fear your deployment and movement from both rear and fl...

Re: Looking for Shade Conversions

In the meanwhile – I did my own. As some of you did already, I took the Eternal Guard miniatures and put Corsair crossbows and other arms from my bits box (shadow warrior, black guard, dragon rider, corsair) on them. I also attached some crossbows and sabres from the Dark Rider kit to their back an...

Re: Facing the unliving and chaos

Against the vamps, you definitely want a nice, big Witch horde. Ghouls are more or less Witches without ASF, poor Ld and T4. I'd also consider a Level 1 metal to boost your Witches when needed, with a scroll - a well-timed IoN-dispel can tear apart his battleline. Would also consider a large CoK-ham...

Re: [PLOG] The Realms of Kar Amenti.

Thanks CK! The one on the left is indeed my favourite as well, am really happy with how she turned out. She just has this cool, calm arrogance about her, kind of saying "I am going to mess up your deployment so hard, and there ain't a damned thing you can do about it, boy." Speaking of the...

You can only have one Dispel Scroll in the army - I suggest giving it to the level 2.

Re: 2500 list, first time at this level

I'd make the scroll caddy a level 1, drop the Master of Warlocks and a couple of Witches to fit in a second RBT. Possibly make the scroll caddy Death instead of Life.

Would also move BSB to Peg Master from CoB for better mobility and forced splitting fire.

Since I started using Loctite Precision super glue, I've never looked back. It's amazing. Where can I get this glue? Most good hardware stores will likely stock it, as Loctite is a huge international brand. If you're by some chance you're in Scandinavia, Clas Olsson, Teknikmagasinet and Jula stocks...
