Just about every elite elven infantry have the same troubles as Eternal Guard. Black Guard, Swordmasters, Witch Elves, White Lions, Executioners, they're all susceptible too missile troops. I'm not understanding how they're any softer really than those units.

I don't have any glade guard... And why would it have trouble winning? Other armies can compete with similar lists. I don't really care about scoring, I don't go to tournaments. The eternal guard are hardly soft, they have 3 attacks (effectively), plus are stubborn with a reroll for the their break ...

Here is the list I've tentatively come up with. It obviously is more static than normal Wood Elf armies, the bulk of it will stay together. The 2 Eternal guard units and the 2 treemen will be together to keep up their stubborn rerolls from the BSB. The Spellsinger will hide out wherever seems safest...

Ward Saves are allowed, Regeneration is not. The rule book is quite clear on this, reading that will clear up all these questions.
