Re: Slaanesh
It's a "forbidden" cult within Druchii society that is occasionally discovered. When found, they are punished for not worshiping Khaine. Some suspect that Morathi is secretly behind it all and that she herself worships Slaanesh as well.

Re: NEW YEAR PAINTING CHALLENGE
I was actually able to get quite a bit done on my Chaos team this weekend. A lot left to do, but I am happy with where they are right now.

I have newer ones than that, but they are either unassembled, or assembled as crossbowmen
I don't think I'll ever get it all done.

Re: Show Us Your Harpies [Picture Heavy]
Back when I used them, it was good to have a big bunch of them. They were only LD6, (still are), and were almost always outside the generals LD bubble (which they can't even use anymore). They were vulnerable to shooting, with no armor save, and if you lost 25% of the unit they had to test. Also, th...

Re: Show Us Your Harpies [Picture Heavy]
Here are mine, they were the current edition when I bought them. They're probably 25-ish years old now. http://i1371.photobucket.com/albums/ag312/Tad_Wesley/Apocalypse%20Drow%20Plog/Other%20Minis/harpies_zpszkzwfcck.jpg To be honest, I hardly ever use them. When they were St4, several editions ago, ...

Re: Warhammer TotalWar
I have a fairly new PC with a pretty gaming platform, and I am interested in playing it, but I am most definitely not an "early adopter". I typically wait about a year after a game's release before I buy it. That way, I avoid all the release day "growing pains", and pay a fractio...

Re: NEW YEAR PAINTING CHALLENGE
For June, I'm going to try to complete a Chaos Blood Bowl team, because I'll be in a tourney in July. I have already started on them, so there won't be any proper "before" pics, but that's my project. I know it's not dark elf themed, but that's where my painting focus has to be this month....

Great work as always Cult. I sort of hold you and Lion as the benchmark around here (not that there aren't other fantastic painters here!), and as usual, you didn't disappoint.

May as well try it. Generally the worst thing that would happen would be a CDO from the Evil Empire. That would be the sign that you've gone too far, right?

If it doesn't get us in trouble, I'd love to see any and all of that information posted here. It's already a great resource, that would only improve it.

Re: What do we want the future of Druchii.net to be?
I'm fine with the brackets idea, as long as mods don't come down too harshly on noobs who do it wrong. I know there will most likely be a "please read before posting" faq type of topic, but you know how it is. The +/- things sounds needlessly complicated and possibly confusing to me, thoug...

Re: What do we want the future of Druchii.net to be?
Yep totally - more voices and more group interaction on the P&M section can only be beneficial. Mixing things in the army tactics would just cause confusion. And I also agree that as long as there's a way to keep the theme consistent, I'm all for it. I still want my dark elfy vibe wherever I go ...

Re: What do we want the future of Druchii.net to be?
@Calisson. Happy to take KoW as I am probably the most active player of it on the forum (Actually 2 new Elf factions coming later in the year). Plus more than happy to continue as a universal mod on forums or social media. Some interesting name ideas, I will have some thoughts overnight. Looking fo...

Re: What do we want the future of Druchii.net to be?
Of the options listed, I like fantasyelves and pointyears. Also a friend of mine often called dark elves "angst *******" back in the day. So that might be worth considering as well. And I hope my disparaging remarks re: AoS weren't taken personally. As I said at the time, if people enjoy t...

Want to sell or trade - Various Blood Bowl
I have accumulated some random extra BB figs that I have no conceivable use for. I would like to sell or trade them. First of all, what I have to offer: All mini descriptions as per http://www.blood-bowl-miniatures.de/ 3rd Ed Morg N Thorg 2nd Ed Skaven "Lineman 8" 2nd Ed Skaven "Throw...

Re: What do we ant the future of Druchii.net to be?
I've only come to find this site semi-recently, so take my opinion for what it's worth in that context. But I have never really seen it super-busy. It has died off some, but I think that's because we're all kind of in a wait and see mode to see what happens to the hobby. I think of it kind of like t...

Yeah I have tons and tons of minis that have sat unopened in their blisters for 20+ years. It's good to know I'm not alone.

I also think it's pretty cool and would like to see the models, but I didn't want to register on a new site to say that, so I'll say it here.

Re: Topic of the Week - 9th Age, does it grab your attention
I am part of a Facebook "Warhammer" group made up of our local players, but all the talk on there is about 40k now. Everybody but me, apparently, has given up on fantasy entirely. So in a practical sense, it doesn't really matter what I think of 9th Ed, because it would apparently take a H...

Nothing to add that others haven't already - it's outstanding and I wish I could do it. Just because you gave very good instructions doesn't mean that anybody could follow them with that amount of success you have. Well done to you sir.

Re: NEW YEAR PAINTING CHALLENGE
Coat d'Arms apparently still do Amethyst Purple (along with the other OOP Citadel/GW coloured metallics). Awesome! I bought out the Amethyst at my store when I heard it was being discontinued, so I still have 3 bottles unopened. But if they run out or dry up, it's good to know there's a backup plan...

Re: Rumours about GW in 2014 - not good ones
I recently tried to get Glade Riders (a newer plastic box set) so I could use the horses for Darksteeds. The game store owner was shocked to find it no longer had a product code for direct ordering. He had to call in the request. Either they are making new glade riders or indeed discontinuing the w...
