It depends on the situation. Like Dyvim mentioned, the Shadow lore is really more suited for level 3 or 4 mages. I tend to use Dark Lore almost all the time, while occasionally using the lore of Death. But this is since my armies don't have any high level Sorcs at 2k. But still, I think you should t...

I agree with Eldacar. The Druchii aren't really suited for allying with others, since we tend to be the solitary raiders. Apart from the Cult of Pleasure allying itself with Slaaneshi Chaos I don't see that many possible alliances. Of course, we'll be on the "evil" side of the campaign - L...

Malus: What ever made you think you're the only Blood Angels player around here Anyway, not getting a new codex is pretty annoying, as seeing how the Black Templars and the Dark Angels got their own books. And thinking about it, having one book would be more player friendly than carrying two WDs and...

Looks good. As mentioned, they look very good and what makes it even better is that they're not the original. Of course, metal does give better detail (like you mentioned) but making the mini yourself (to some extent) gives it a better feel :)

Can't wait to see them painted.

I've also started to lower the amount of money spent on WH. At the moment, the last thing I bought was the Tyranid Codex, and before that, the Wood Elf army book. It's basically just paints and brushes. And the WD that comes in the mail once a month :P

Yes, they look good, but I agree with the others, they aren't the best there are. Scott Goldstein's, GeOrc's and MDK's armies are a lot better in my opinion, to just name three names.

And the Discs look really out of place in the unit. :P

Yeah. I agree with Dyvim on this. The purpose of Warhammer is to have fun and make an army that you want. One of the simplest "counts as" things I've played against, was an Empire player who used the Middenheim Teutogen Guard as Greatswords. It fit the theme of the army and the models are ...

I agree with The_Everchosen. The Necrons are one of the most boring armies to play against (or with, for that matter). Almost every army that I've played against has been nearly identical. Thus it isn't that hard to learn how to counter them. Witch Hunters on the other hand have a better army list i...

Indeed. Termies are very scary in small games, but like mentioned, an opponent with a lot of armour save negating weapons means you'll be deep in you know what However, when you combine the Daemonhunters or Witch Hunters with the Imperial Guard, then most of the disadvantages can be countered with t...

Indeed, the Black Legion or any other army worshipping the Undivided Pantheon is the most diverse and allows the most possibilities.

However, themed armies are very nice to convert, paint and play with :)

Hey there I have quite a lot of experience with every army in that list, although I don't field Terminators in my SM armies that often. Hey there! What kind of army do you want to play? If you want a "shooty" army, then the Iron Warriors are for you. If you want crazed psychopathic close combat killers, then the World Eaters are the nr. 1 choice. Every legion has their strengths and weaknesses. So really, it depends on how...

Have to say, the paintjob is very good. Great work. The Malekith on Chariot conversion is excellent and resembles the picture of him in the 4th/5th ed Dark Elf army books. The expression especially is good. Is that from some other mini or did you sculpt it yourself? And that Noble on Dark Pegasus co...

A Commissar is always entertaining, whatever the unit he is with. The best place for a Commissar is a Conscript Platoon or an Armoured Fist squad. There his higher leadership will make the units less likely to rout and more likely to do what is required of them. And no, a Commissar isn't going to ch...

I use Chaos Black with a small highlight with Shadow Grey for the robes of the models. Chainmail parts are painted with Boltgun Metal and highlighted with Mithril Silver. The rest of the armour is painted with Red Gore, highlighted with Blood Red and then washed with Red Ink. The colour scheme has a...

Not that I know of, no, there is really no fluff piece saying that Devoted of Slaanesh are always female.

And as for the Anointed gender, they can be either. Like already said, they're Elves (or descendants of) who left for the Chaos Wastes after the Sundering.
