Well the main idea for these units is that they would frenzy charge anything they can take and if they cant fight them, reform into a single line and minimize attacks against the witches and rely on stubborn leadership as a tar pit. Should work in theory.

Some players choose to play with sliding rules but the rulebook specifically states that those rules are not official. More of a house rule to play it that way. It also lends a huge advantage to elite infantry.
