Here is a shot of the wings, they look to be in the correct place... http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/3175/dsc00130du9.jpg and here is a shot of Morathi with her knees correctly positioned. Even leaning her further back does not get her bottom to touch http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/5099/dsc00...

Thanks guys, I agree with you for "normal" BSBs, I would want them in combat too. Of course with the Cauldron you don't have control over it getting into combat and when it does get charged the Hags are a little squishy. Without the BSB becoming a massive points sink (SoHG and RoK putting ...

DH+CoB+BSB hiding in a wood... unsporting?

I used the DH+CoB+BSB build for the first time last night. The main motivation for adding the BSB was that I had a couple of small units of Blackguard and for 25pts I thought the stubborn rerolls was worth it. Anyway, after the game my opponent suggested I should have hidden the CoB in a wood. As fa...

Thanks Rabidnid.

I will have another look tonight maybe if I get her leaning further back.

Is the only way I can get a picture on this forum to first have posted it to another website?

Looks like a well rounded list and fun to play with and against. I would say in friendly games you might be frowned upon playing with Special Characters. Specifics from a competitive front: CoK's with the Pearl. This does not remove stupidity, only immunity to Fear (which you already have as a fear ...

This whole situation becomes quite "messy" if you look at models, although GW does seem to imply this is how it should be viewed. If you lose your front rank in combat but hold does that mean you get hatred in the second round (as the second rank models step forward) it is after all, their...

I was surprised that they endorsed the "pop-up" shades approach where you can move a shade to have LoS for charging after revealing an assassin. I'll take it but it doesn't seem in the spirit of the game. Is anyone else surprised?

Thanks guys.

The wings look like they are in the right place they are perfectly flush with the rest of the Peg, but this leaves her bottom about 4mm away from the main model :(

The pin is going to look, to say the least, disturbing!

Congratulations on the win and thanks for writing it up. The Bristol Brawl sounds intriguing and I must admit the idea of reversing the armies seems like a very sensible way to even up anything that might be broken between armies. I used to find the same process useful when I played MtG (a card game...

Need advice on Morathi...

I am using the Morathi on Dark Pegasus model as a proxy for a vanilla Lvl 4. I have assembled the Pegasus (after a bit of messing about, either the tail or the neck would line up but not both) wings, pinned. There are big gaps which need green stuffing but... Morathi is a tight fit. I wonder what ha...

Excellent work. But I second (or third, I lost count) the calls for Druchii themed sketches, I think your twighlight style would work well with them as subjects.

Thank you Calisson for taking the time to write this up. I found it very flowing, especially with the use of metaphors and rule interpretations in brackets . Very impressive, the black, purple and snow theme is the one I am trying to acheive too, but no where near your standard, yet.

I guess you have the option of using your "Hydra" as a chariot too? I tihnk it is my favourite out of your army.

I used warrior spears (right hand) and warrior singlehanded crossbows (left hand), they need some "jiggling" in order that you can fit the unit together. Once I build up the courage to model the cloaks I'll post some pics.

If you won't let me use PoK, then I would go: AoES (+ SDC, S), Potion of Strength and Seal of Ghrond with a Lance. The potion of Strength gives some great flexibilty for those times when you either don't get the charge or need to fight two rounds. The Seal is also a little more flexible than the MR2...

I love what you have done with the Dark Rider (subject to cleaning up the glue on the xbow).

How easy was creating a cloak out of GS? I would like to do something similar, but my modelling skills are a little rusty.

I like the dynamic pose of the rider on the manticore. I know it wouldn't work practically!

BTW: does the manticore lose KB if it doesn't have a scorpion's tail? ;)

Fluff wise do you think that Corsairs (with handbows as xbows and weapons modified to spears) would work. I quite like the dynamic poses of the models which would appear to work well with the High Elf Chariot.
