That sentence doesn't give a clear sense of timing, however.

Honestly, I've never paid much attention to when I declare what the spell is specifically targetting.

If you've ever been curious about online campaigns and what they are all about, now is the time to check it out. The players are great about answering any questions you may have, and the GM team always puts on a great show.

Look for more faction information to be released in the near future.

Animosity 6- Scales of the North

Everything changes, given time. Lives so furiously lived become meaningless as time stretches out and generations come and go while the world turns around them. Empires live and die as the people who birthed them change or vanish altogether. Step back far enough and these too become trivial as the ...

I can see that one. Now I'm thinking of the D&D Deep Gnomes, what with their fancy for crossbows and summoning massive earth elementals.

Of course ;) i've sent other post here, with shades, rbx men, corsair and master

Now that you mention it, I do think I saw the shades before. There are corsairs and crossbows, too? I'll have to go hunting now.

Tis the woes of playing an RPG where the race, at its core, mistrusts one another.

But remember that to make things work, sometimes concessions of fluff must be made for the group, and vice-versa.

I would certainly like to see more detail on the games played. Team games (especially with greenskins) always have that extra layer of craziness to them.

First off, welcome to Warhammer. Secondly, welcome to the Druchii! You are off to a strong start; Repeater crossbows are in high demand nowadays, and warrior/spearmen are nice when reach 30-40 models. Corsairs are always a blast to both paint and play, so you can't go wrong there, either. You certai...

I use the levitating Wood Elf Spellweaver as my sorcerer. Here

With some simply conversions (spikes, skulls, etc), the High Elf casters will work as nice substitutes.

I would suggest dropping the Dark Rider unit completely. For their cost, they don't add much to the army list that other units (shades, harpies) can do better. Some people swear by harpies in this edition for their cost and usefulness, though I don't use any. If you drop the DR, maybe add in a harpy...

For pure shooting abilities I would stick with shades. When you add in melee, corsairs add that little extra power that shades don't have.

I use the same setup of 10 Corsairs with Handbows, Reaver with a pair of handbows in my games. I run them similar to what you are suggesting, except I only use a single unit and tend to have my shadow sorc in there. It is nice when my opponent is looking to target the sorc, and even with the corsair...

I would recommend the unkillable pegasus dreadlord as well; a strength of the ogres is their extra punch on the charge, and if you are able to stop them from doing just that, you have really hamstringed their army. For the BG or WE thing; check out that DRAICH article that broke down both's ability ...

That doesn't seem to be what he said at all... Regardless, you will forgive the brevity of my response before as I thought it silly to restart that specific debate. Any complaining looks to stem from other things concerning GW. Now... if we were all chaos dwarf players, and in order to play legally we needed to purchase a $90 book, well then that is something different.

The whole flame cage and refusing a challenge thing was discussed on here some time ago. I don't remember what the consensus was, but if any opponent tried to pull that on me, I'd tilt my head and laugh, "I don't think so." Its not a trick, its your interpretation of the rules.

True, it's a legal issue rather than a moral one, that really reason enough to just keep schtum about what form your army book takes. Very interesting topic. I use a unit of 10 handbow corsairs in my games, who work alongside my shades on the flanks. I am afraid I have yet to properly experiment with larger units of corsairs, so cannot add much to the debate. The point is that RHB Corsairs are just really, really useful in many wa...
