What are you listening to right now?

Post by Subutai »

Whenever I have seen a thread like this on a forum, they seem to be quite popular. Its always good to see what everybody is into music wise!

Right now for me it is:

Smashing Pumpkins - Heavy Metal Machine

Obsidian Shell.

They're a Metal Symphonic band (yes, I had never heard of the combination before either...). Very very good though: hauntingly beautiful, but also strong and tuneful :)

Best of all, all of their three albums (Angelic Asylum, Elysia and Evershade) have been made free to download by the band!

Paradise lost- Draconian times! Classic album. Band from England. Defo worth a listen to if you havnt herd 'em. Hallowed land is a stand out.

Whats the general consensis on musical genres that warhammer players listen to? Myself and most of my mates who play are into metal and rock, i just cant imagine a dark elf player listening to spice girls haha. but i dunno ...whats the verdict?
How can i sacrifice zombies to khaine!?!

Queens of the Stone Age - No One knows

Almost every Warhammer player I know listens to Metal in one of its many shades and flavours.

Devil May Cry 4 - Time Has Come

Yeah, I got distracted while posting. ;)

I would have to agree that Warhammer players love metal - almost all the players I knew/know listened to the genre. I myself listen to metal occasionally, but not exclusively.

Right now, Smashing Pumpkins (again) - Vanity

Metal is generally very popular I think, as is rock.

Myself, I like most genres, except for rap and hip hop. Trance, metal and happy hardcore are particular favourites.

I have this crazy suspicion that warhammer players usually don't listen to a lot of mainstream pop/hiphop music, can somone confirm this or are there some of you out there?

Its true sadly. Metal types usually consider themselves 'diverse' because they listen to different metal genres  Personally I listen to all sorts. I'm off to see Maroon 5 this week. However, I'll be mixing some dubstep later with a few beers. Dubstep is pop these days anyways ;)

The Stone Roses - This is the One.

I love this song; I've had it on repeat about three times now!

Queensryche - Operation Mindcrime.

Its been on in the car for about 6 weeks now with no sign of being ejected.

Track 7, the mission gets bellowed out whenever it comes on.
