I'm still around. Older and greyer but still kicking. Been reminiscing lately about the heydays of Warhammer Fantasy 6th edition and how much I miss it. Was thinking about painting up an army for old time's sake but it's so difficult to find DE models nowadays. I was hoping to find a big box set on Ebay but haven't had any luck. I do like the look of the Raging Heroes DE minis though. They are completely awesome!

How are things here?

Druchii.net very idle. I kill a spammer once in a while.
Nowadays all the activity is on The Ninth Age.
The DRAICH has been suggested to be transposed on T9A by a former fan (not me).
A new DE army book is in the works.

The team is working on it.
There are snippets of information released every Tuesday - which helps to react and adjust before the book is finished.
DE LAB Tuesday Sneak Peaks & Teaser Roundup

If I may summarize the spirit,
as for playing feeling, DE will be the aggressive Elves, when HE are the defensive Elves and SE the elusive Elves;
thematically, the future DE are going to expand the BeastMaster theme, while religion will keep a role but not as marked as you have known.

GW is working indeed on something you might be interested in.
The official GW propaganda is there: https://www.warhammer-community.com/201 ... warhammer/
Here are detailed analysis - and speculation - of what to expect: https://ageofminiatures.com/warhammer-t ... orld-news/ and https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Warhammer:_The_Old_World

tl;dr:
- square bases come back
- it is centered on Empire
- it will take a couple of years
- GW intends to make money on that.

Looks like a class reunion! Just checked this old board here today and shared my latest druchii project. When looking for the old gang I found you here and enjoyed to see you both still active in the Druchii business.
Since three years I am back at painting again Dark Elves. My workbench was never more productive. But working with the old lead makes me missing the old friends. I would be happy to see you here more often.
I will check here more frequently. Hope to hear from you.
Kind Regards,
GeOrc
