Thanks

Re: Cloak of twilight
No, the save granted by the cloak is not magic resistance.

Re: Cloak of twilight
Not to make another post, and this one already include CoT I'm going to post my question here.
In my gaming group we have somewhat agreed that attacks made in first round of combat with the CoT is magical (or has magical effect applied), is that coorect? I face a lot of VC so it would be good to know in case we get that discussion.

Re: Cloak of twilight
That would be incorrect. Cloak of Twilight is not a magic weapon, and nothing in its rules specifies magical attacks.
But if your group is ok with playing that way, more power to you! Just be aware that outside of your group things are different.

Re: Cloak of twilight
Thanks for the reply Dalamar. Then I think we will change the rule we play with. I then just ned to adjust.
Re: Cloak of twilight
One last thing to add to this one: does the ward save work for damage from a miscast?

Unfortunately the miscast is not a spell, miscasts do magical damage though so our hated kindred get saves from their Banner of the World Dragon, bloody Asur.
The Cloak does protect you against the possible wound from Power of Darkness, and with a MR 1 amulet the spell is free AND much safer to cast.
