cloak + cloak?
this seems an odd one but am i allowed to take a sea dragon cloak and a cloak of twilight?
I cant see anywhere in the rules that says enchanted items replace mundane equivalents or am i missing something?

No, you are not missing anything. It is currently perfectly legal to do this.

Re: cloak + cloak?
The real question is why it is listed as an enchanted item and not armour. But that 'why' is easy to guess. Making it an enchanted item made it usable by Sorceresses.

And impossible to combine with a potion of strength for hilarious, no armour save D3 wound shenanigans from dread lords... And the other tricksters shard

I don't have the book with me but I am sure its item fluff says that it is not a cloak (as in Garment) but some kind of invisible thin filmy type magic stuff (mentions morathi and Shadowblade too but alas my photographic memory is on Easter break sorry :-)

No need to apologise, you are correct that it all but invisible. But definitely described as a cloak, woven from the hair of innocents and dyed with the blood of sorcerers.

I keep wondering where dark elves suddenly find all those innocents in the dark fantasy world of warhammer.

This is why it is a dark fantasy world. All the innocents that crop up get scooped up and sacrificed to one unholy entity or another.

Sometimes I wonder if Dark Elves breed them, just for such purposes.
