Mount Attacks Question
Edit:
Never mind, silly question on my part wondering if the mounts don't get to attack. Rereading the rule book it seems clearer this second time around that the mounts do get attacks. (but not in the second rank)
So any Calvary of 5 will get at least 10 attacks. 10 models in 2 ranks would get 15. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Re: Mount Attacks Question
Cavalry is explained in BRB p.82, where you will find all the answers.
In the model, the mount and the rider both get to attack, each of them at their respective I (only riders get ASF), and with their respective S.
Note that your unit can be only DR, or only COK, not a mix as you seem to imply in your post.

Re: Mount Attacks Question
Thank you for taking the time to help!
I was rereading the rules after I posted and somehow I seemed to have missed parts that made the answer to my question much more obvious! My Bad.
It just always seemed kinda odd to me regular horses also seem to get attacks.

A one-ton quadruped with hard hooves and strong teeth can most certainly kill someone. To be frank, S3 is understating the power available to a horse.

There are Clydesdales in my local park. I went in to their field to film them once and the three of them decided to charge me.
I ran away.

Re: Mount Attacks Question
But if horses were S4 then surely cold ones would have to be S5?

Re: Mount Attacks Question
Not necessarily. If a horse has 1 S4 attack, then Cold Ones having 2 S4 attacks is quite appropriate.

Cold One's are Utahraptors and need at least three attacks to represent their terrible claws

I wonder if we should start painting our Cold Ones with feathers?

Well, it would make sense. Scientists established indeed that some dinosaurs survived till now: we call them birds.
